Few Questions

Okay i currently have SimCity4. (Bit of help needed here). Basically i haven't been on for a while, firstly i would like to know how i get the mods and bet's ect to work, or don't they? Also i would like to know how to download them and How to build a succesfull city.

For your mods and downloads, you should unzip the files to MyDocuments/SimCity4/Plugins. This should make them work in game, but make sure there are no installers or sub-zip folder. If this is the case, run the installer, and unzip the sub folders.

For a successful city, well thats too broad a question to answer in one post, but I will direct you to the Omnibus. See the button for it at the top menu between STEX Collections and Modds and Downloads.

The key for a successful city is:

Be creative

Have Good Fire, Police, Medical coverage

High Desirability

Good Education

If you have those, I dont see why you want have one. Also, dont forget to put in some recreational buildings.

Okay when i try to download the stex, ect it works but when i go in the game all i get is a big box in a parcel, why?

Youre are missing dependancies. After you click the picture to download look in the window that pops up there should be a list of dependancies you will need for the item to work, if its not there should be a readme or HTMl document with the list. Youll need to download the items on the list. Sometimes the file will have no dependancies sometimes the uploader forgets something.
