None of you are close. First hint: it's left hand drive, so I don't think it's Ohio. Enjoy, and keep on guessing!

Oh wow... how did I do that?

Hmmm... well this does look like California to me, but doing CA again would be odd. And CA has already been guessed so... Texas?

In the US a highway can become roads. As long it has the highway marker, it still is a highway. And a lot of highways in the US are just long avenues!

That's true. I-99 in California is basically Park Avenue with off-ramps. 3.gif Anywho, you're all right and wrong at the same time. US is correct, but the right state needs to be guessed. So, only 47 more states to go! Mwuhahahahahahahahahahaha!

EDIT: Never mind, it was Hawaii. Near Waikiki I think. Next picture.

Austria, perhaps?

And topcliff, you're refering to CA-SR 99, not Interstate 99, which is on the wrong coast entirely.

Okay, don't be so technical Hutt. I know which is which, it's just easier saying I-99 than CA-SR-99. Oh, and you got it right. Picture of Austria from the 70's, when Ahnald was still there. 3.gif Next picture.

Except that's not a "technicality". What you said was wrong, no matter how you look at it. That corridor isn't and never was an Interstate. It's CA-99 (the "SR" is unnecessary). The two are completely different. Just because they happen to have the same number doesn't mean they can be used interchangeably.

    ------------------------

As for any complaints about something being a road and not a highway, I refer you to my picture of that dirt road from Colorado. The definition of "highway" is flexible here. So it's perfectly valid.

    -------------------------

Now, it hasn't been Narrowed down to South America. He just said "Southern Hemisphere". So I'm gonna be different and say Madagascar.

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

It was Venezuela. The reason those billboards were covered up was, well, they were all in Spanish! Next picture.

I know, the dimensions on this one are weird.

EDIT: Okay, I'm the biggest, ugliest, stupidest guy ever. I assumed South America was entirely in the Southern Hemisphere. Go ahead, call me a big fat teenage wastoid. I deserve it.
