How well do you know highways?

Yeah, another one of these.

So, rules/guidelines:

-I post a picture of a highway. You have to tell me what country it's in. If it's in the US or Canada, I expect you to tell me what state/province it's in, too. (04/04/08- this now applies to the UK and Australia, too). What city/county it's in and what highway it is are for bonus points (at least they would be if I intended to keep score ) 04/15/08- to clarify: the city and highway are not required info and the round is over whether they are guessed or not.

-One guess per picture per person, unless it goes long enough that I need to post a hint. In that case, you can guess again.

-If something on a picture potentially gives away its location (text on a sign, license plate details, etc.), I reserve the right to edit it out. If I do so, though, it'll be obvious that editing has taken place.

Well It looks new/resurfaced. There are some hills present, but mostly flat with some grassland. I will guess somewhere in, say Idaho, USA? (Just a wild guess, a hint may help)

EDIT:  Only 1 guess?? Wow, this is hard then.. Am I anywhere close, or is it on the other side of the planet?

It amuses me how two people guessed left-hand driving countries (South Africa and Australia) when the cars in the picture are clearly driving on the right.

I'm going against the crowd on this one. Ill say its a French Autoroute, and its somewhere in southern France?

topcliff: Canadian highways would have a yellow line and an emergency lane in the centre with an Ontario tall wall median rather than steel genders.  (just to let you know for future pictures)
