New imacs!

Apple realeased a new Imac on the 7th. They also realeased Ilife '08 and Iwork '08, as well as a new keyboard. Who here owns a Mac or an Apple product? I have an Imac G3 that I'm currently locked out of. Curse my forgetfullness/carelessness! (I forgot my password!)

I have seen the new iMacs and I do like them very much.  I won't be getting one though as my 3 year old PPC G4 is more than enough to do everything I need for the moment.  Well, mostly... 

I will be getting the new keyboard though.  It is so nice!  For years, Apple has been including that awful white keyboard on which I am typing right now.  I've been itching to replace it ever since I got it.  In fact, I'm going out today to do just that. 

As for your situation, BillyBob, may I recommend a trip to the Apple Discussion forums?  They should be able to help you resolve your password problems there.

Tbh I don't understand why they didn't release them when OS 10.5 came out. It's not that far off, would have made more sense, or are they trying to squeeze more moneys out of people?

Personally, I think the black outline w/black apple is rather ugly. Still, they have improved the specs (at a price) and it still is hands down the best all in 1 computer there is.

Plus, Macs are just cool.

This is just me, but I preferred the previous design (new one is kinda ugly). Still, it's an iMac, so you can't go wrong.

I'm going to try to find an os cd over ebay, or just take it in to the mac shop. My dad says he's going to try to find someone at work who can fix it for pizza. I want to get an Emac G4, and use my Imac G3 as a second computer.

I had a little visit to the Apple store today. The new iMacs are pretty slick. I rather like the black actually.

But I am totally in love with the new keyboard. Evidently, Canadian stores aren't getting them for individual sale for another couple of weeks or so I just finished ordering one for myself from Apple.ca. Can't wait for it to arrive! I have to say, Apple has really dropped the ball on keyboards for the last 10 years. Since the introduction of the iMac in 1998, the keyboards have been crap. But this one is freaking sweet!

I am kind of neutral in mac vs pc.  However, I am very much against the commercials apple has been running.  The mac vs. pc guys are just so silly, I want to throw up.

im not sure i like the black trim...the black apple is pretty sweet, but the black trim tends to detract from the sleekness to me. at least they havent touched the macbook pros. lol. those are the best!
