Would it make more sense for the city to have a football club, like the Newark Oconees or something? I'd love to help with a soccer team. Or if you want to do lots of individually owned teams that'd be cool - we could have a league. Well, I have a development plan to show you: this time on the Tuckaway Highway.  It is called The Foothills at Cambria (all of Parcel 2 south of the mountains shall be called Cambria). Located on Parcel 2, Grid D7, it will be the first step to bring growth in Western Newark north of Parcel 3, and into new territory.  Anyways, here's my plan for The Foothills at Cambria:

Notes:

* All residential development (green) is low-density unless otherwise stated.

* The Tuckaway Highway (Highway 45) will end temporarily at Foothills Boulevard (the existing pavement will continue further north) until an extension into the mountains is built.  All traffic will be forced to exit here. (yes, it will be an interchange, even though Tuckaway Highway is not a true freeway)  Under my plan, Highway 45 will be tolled north of Foothills Boulevard as it goes through the mountains.

* For the light blue (commercial), I would like to see some of SimGoober's Plop A Shop packs.

* The "Offices" will be considered medium-density commercial; look for appropriate medium-density offices on the STEX or SC4D (just any will do, EX: SimGoober's MacKenzie Building).

* If you don't have them, Justanothersim's Suburban Homes would look nice here, in my opinion.

* The white areas are to be filled in with open grass areas planted with trees.

* Foothills Blvd is an avenue, Maitland Hills Dr. is a road, and all the gray roads are streets (I'm using diagonal streets here, please note).

willg - Yeah that would be fine, we currently have one stadium (and honestly since I didn't think of purchasing teams, I'll need to find a way to calculate this and possible points... Maybe a random counter could decide which teams win???) 

iamihop11 - Yeah, that or College football, lets say the league were divded up by divisions from say, NorthEast Newark (Fireplace, Ciberton) East Newark (Linaton, Millidgeville), South Newark (South Island), North Newark (No real city exists, just development), West Newark, (West Haven, Lantia, Tuckaway, Global Village) and North West Newark (Cambria, Yoshiislands/Lilmanjs Development) ... Each division would need to biuld a college (or university) and develope a stadium (can even be a BAT) to participate...  And from there we organize and arrange games and see arrange a drawing or a basic random counter to see which team wins.. Expidition winners get 40 free points, Playoffs get 80 free points, and Super Bowl gets 200 free points, or something to that affect...

Houston_Fan - I have no problem with the development, only thing is for Tuckaway Highway the road north of Foothills Blvd is also Tuckaway Highway and was purchased by lilmanjs so he would have to sell that portion to you. You CAN however go to its current terminus in D5 and expand your tollway into the mountains from there but be aware that lilmanjs and yoshiisland are planning a city there so I would contact them to see what exactly they would want to do first anyway...

willg - Dimensions as in how many tiles it encompasses? Okay, let me biuld the railway first though.

@N4C: I would like to mention that anything I purchase is purchased by Tuckaway Transportation Systems which Huston Fan is a part of. So unless I say that I'm purchasing land it is property of Tuckaway Transportation Systems. also, when are we going to get another storyline update?

willg -  Okay, you want the tiles across? and up / down between the Freeway and the road? or to the edge of the map? and do you want the tiles inside the area of the perimiter? As for the hole in the image. At that zoom level, unless I spend a rediculous amount of time, there's absolutely no way I can give you 100% accuracy, they'll be very close an I will beable to work with them to make the connections as accurate as possible but perfection, atleast for the moment is out of the question. What exactly are you trying to biuld there?

lilmanjs - Next time make SURE you tell me what Parcel and Grid intersection you're using as that could be anywere in Newark for all I know but I believe this is at the end of Tuckaway Highway. Converting Tuckaway Highway into a Ground Highway can be done but isn't recommended as the cost will go up for a Highway that will do basically the same job. I'd suggest keeping it as a Rural Highway with exit / entrance ramps until Douglas City grows a bit. You also didn't mark if you wanted an interchange in that intersection with the road. Furthermore, I realized now that Tuckaway Transportation was the purchaser of Tuckaway Highway, since both you and Houston Fan are in Tuckaway Transportation, I'll need you two to come to an agreement (or vote within Tuckaway Transportation) upon how Tuckaway Highway will be constructed, whether or not it will continue as a Tollroad, and when and where the tolling will begin... As for the story line... I have NOT forgotten about Soni... I am tied between 2 College Projects, Math Homework, Exams, Moving, Work, and the website... If I gave a storyline update, it would be at the sacrifice of a development update... Not trying to sound mean, I'm just saying at my predicament at the moment, I am doing as much as I can...

Tuckaway Transportation - I'll need you to come to a GROUP decision upon the expansion of Tuckaway Highway and how it will be handled between Cambria and Douglass City. Show me where tolling will begin and make sure you indicate any onramps, offramps, their styles, ect.. ect.

Sorry Need4Camaro, we should've been more clear. Where it is marked as "ground highway" we actually meant "RHW", and where you see the line grow thinner is where the highway MIGHT expand. And yes, an interchange at the road intersection would be fine.

As for expanding the highway, Lilmanjs said he's all for it, but I'm not sure about Houston Fan...

Yoshiisland - No big deal, next time on your plans, if you want something that's already there, you don't have to indicate it... Just prevents confusion... But as for Houston Fan's development, I need to know whether or not Tuckaway Highway will be tolled from his exit and northward... which is still a decision to be made by Tuckaway Transportation because if it is tolled, then Douglass City will only be accessable by a tollroad...

as for right now I don't want tuckaway highway to be a tollway. not till there is enough traffic for it and plus I don't think tuckaway highway should be one ever. but I'm not the only one with a say. what do the other members of Tuckaway Transportation Systems think?

pbth...nah, don't worry about a thing man! You've got your priorities in order, that's a good thing. RL has much priority over SC4. Just take your time and the most active investors will be here waiting!

To answer Lilmanjs's question, I don't think the only route out of Douglas city (for now) should be a tollway either.  But if the Tuckaway Highway changed routes from Highway 45, then I really wouldn't mind.

lilmanjs - Just incase you didn't realize. The proposal wasn't to turn Tuckaway Highway into a tollroad but basically to have Tuckaway Highway end, and extend a tollway on the same alaignment of the Highway 45 Corridoor (remember Highway 45 and Tuckaway Highway are two different entities, they just share the same pavement so Tuckaway Highway recieves additional funding... This means that Tuckaway Highway can end or change routes while Highway 45 Continues (Much like Lantia Pkwy / East West Connector and Highway 4...)
