Narrower Roads

Hey everyone, I was just wondering can u make roads and streets narrower than they are in the game? (The defaults) Because, in my town theres a county road that is narrower than my side street. It was mainly used as a dirt road in the 18th and 19th centuries to accomodate buggies.

The front door of the houses on a side of the street is basically right on the road. Can it be done?

nope. That's a limitation of the grid in simcity4. Sorry. I suppose you could make custom lots that overhang onto the road, which would make the road appear narrow.

Isn't there a set on the stex with (working) ploppable dirt roads? perhaps you could use those?

Where did you find the ploppable dirt roads?

Try this link depending on what you want: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=14620 (not ploppable will overwrite a road whilst in your plugins folder) or i believe dominohobbes has a couple of things that similar to what you are looking for.

Just a note, the dirt streets that you can download, aren't really narrower, there actually a bit thicker then regular streets. But they give the impression of a old country road.

Yea, I used to have them installed but after my game crashed I had to strip my whole plug-ins folder. I didnt really like them that much.
