Hey-

I'm trying to upload a photo to my profile, so it shows up next to my name.  First, the picture I had wasn't the right format, so I changed it to a GIF file.  That fixed that, but now I can't get it to be (of the right size).  I'm told it has to be 80X80 max.  So's I went into my computer's paint program, pulled up the pic, shrank it down to 80X80, then 75X75...then 40X40  (pixels).  They were all too large.

If it is not animated, then convert it to jpg, that might work better. I also think there is a 10KB limit, I don't know if that would stop it.

I had that problem once, but so long ago I don't remember the solution. Have you tried to go ahead and save the profile anyway?

I have been having all kinds of problems with pages loading today, that might be the problem also.

Oh, man. Me correcting a mod.  I think the limit's 100 KB, not 10.

Yeah, you gotta watch me. I have never been wrong before, once I thought I was, come to find out I was only mistaken.

Anyway, it's only a zero, so is that zero mistakes?

No, not a mistake, a typo. You don't make any of those either.

Try converting it to a bitmap or jpeg. Depending on the size (a jpeg of that size could be as low as 40 kb) it should take it. Otherwise you may want to try hosting it and then saving the image to your harddrive, then try to reupload it to your profile.

If it still doesn't take it, shout some expletives and kick the computer.
