I was wondering if it is possible to transport garbage (or electricity...etc) across multiple cities? For example I want to transfer my garbage from one city to one that is 3 cites to the right in region view. Can this be done?

From my experiments it cannot. I found that this sort of things can only be done with cities touching the border of the one in question. Is there something I'm missing or is this just the way the game is?

For garbage, you will need road connections. For Electricity, you need power lines. Note the yellow arrows; it means its connected to the adjacent city. Welcome to Simtropolis!

The word that is not there:

A new person slang word, which can/has been used as an insult and has started many arguments.  It is automatically changed to save this from happening in the future.  It is done automatically, not by anyone.

Say the secret word and you will find out nothing, as usual.  The key is n.00b

Thank you, and yes the word was N..0.0.B. I've never seen that censored out before on a forum, lol.

I read that other thread and I guess it makes sense now. What a pain in the ass though. I don't know why you can't just directly link up to a city which is several tiles over. Thats like if in real life Toronto, ON, Canada couldn't just ship their garbage to Michigan down the highway (which they currently do). Imagine they had to trade it along a line of every town and city for all the 400 or so km in between.

I would guess it to be a development oversight. Perhaps they just plain never saw it coming.

Oh yes and for the record I had all the said power and road connection...etc between the cities in question.
