How do you attract mid-wealth sims?

I want to know how to attract MIDDLE class sims, not the rich sims that drive me crazy trying to please. Also, how should I dispatch low-class demand? I noticed lowering their taxes tended to lower other residential demands as well, not sure if I was imagining though...

The first thing you should do is to install a water system. They'll never come without it  If that fails to create $$ residents then check you land vaule and $$ residsent desirability in both the  data and graph views if it's a light brownish to dark greenish color then place a school a playground and some open green parks next to your sim's homes. Oh , if you want those medium wealth residents to stay there, click on their houses with the query tool and mark the them historial. That way the never never change( unless you destory somehow)

Use the historical tool as mentioned.

Also, lower your tax rates for $$ and up the tax rate for $$$ until there's zero or very little demand for it.

If you don't zone 3x3 zones, High Wealth sims won't move in (i think). I don't believe there are Medium wealth sims that take up 3x3 zones.

Also make sure you provide plenty of middle class jobs for them.  The middle class get most of their jobs from CO$$, CS$$ and some from I-HT.  If you provide jobs, they will come.  If you notice that most of your commercial is CO$$$ and CS$$$, you will be attracting more R$$$, whether you like it or not.

if you REALLY hate R$$$ sims, then raise the tax rates for them to the limit. if you REALLY want R$$ sims, then lower the tax rates for them to the lowest limit. (0%) there's also a mod that can kinda prevent R$$$ from coming up.
