Lot Editor not working

I made a lot in the lot editor, it's 12x12, and took me 2 days to make. I saved it, and then entered the game to place it. When I placed it in the game, all the props I had placed the 2nd day were gone. I figured that it hadn't saved right. So I went back to the LE to fix it, but all the props were there! What is going on? Does anyone know how to help? Thanks for any info

Nerd_guy did you replace the orginal lot you made with the new one? IE moved the new lot into the same folder that you have the old lot in?

I just took a MAXIS park lot and edited it. i don't know how to actuallly make lots. So that's probabally not the problem,

Some props come and go in the game, what props are missing in the game?

The thing is, they are all static props, so they should be there no matter what. And I have more of the same props on other parts of the lot, It's just all the stuff I placed the second time I worked on it.

I don't know if this is the case, but if a copy of the first save loads after the second save, it will be the one that shows up in the game.

check you plug in folder and see if you have two of these.  If you used the Save As option for the second one instead of Save, you will have two instances with different identifiers.

Also there is a limit to the number of props you can put on a lot, and any over that limit disappear. If you made a 12x12 park and filled it with props then you may well have exceeded this limit. You would probably be better off making several smaller parks that are interconnectable to avoid this problem.

yeah that happens for some reason i think it's other plugins

conflicting with the ones your using maybe try taking all your 

plugins out except the ones on the lot & then see if the props

show(test in a city wilth no plugins in it though so you don't

screw it up with the plugins missing)if the props on your lot show

then put the plugins back a few at a time till you find the one or 

ones conflicting & remove them see if that helps,if it don't try 

using other similar props to the ones on your lot that do show up.

another problem i encounter alot is props changing direction

in game i set like the semi trailer props from gizmos vehicle

props v3 in one direction in the lot editor & in game there set

in another direction in order to make it work i have to set it in

the direction the game sets it at in order for it to stay where i

set it i don't know why this happens but i thought i'd mention

it as i am sure others have it happen aswell.
