Mr. Freeze would freeze the police if they show up and then run away or fight off the police reforcements.

The conversation between Dr. Freeze and Batman was an interesting one. Nice presentation of the ice's effect on the building by making the company sign and lights a lighter color. Keep up the excellent work!

The cold eyes of vengeance are upon you.

    Godzillaman: You better! 26.gif

    Giligone: Global warming ftw!

pat: Thanks, pat. Glad you like it. Still working on your review!

football_fever: Note that Mr. Freeze respected Batman (especially after he saw the videotape and his sympathy). He didn't want to kill him at all.

csgsceri: That's the least of his concerns.

connorc24: Thanks. It's always nice to see new readers every now and then.

    Hahayoudied: Maybe...

ky72x: Thanks. I worked hard on those building lights, blasted things.

Man, it's tough not to cheer for the bad guy when the guy he's trying to kill is worse than him. At least he got his in the end.

    What's up next, doc?

Well, that thermos of chicken soup sure came in handy! I figured that it would play some kind of role in the conclusion, because it didn't make much sense for Batman to be carrying around food with him to eat. Anyway, that was one nice ending, and I can't wait for today's update.

A dangerous, unpredicted snowstorm is blowing across Gotham City, and all signs lead to one escaped suspect from Arkham Asylum--Mr. Freeze.

    Story by: Paul Dini

    Adapted by: SpecialEddie

football_fever: In the end, was Mr. Freeze really a villain? He was just acting out of anger and fueled by the will to avenge his wife's death. In truth, he's just like Batman.

    BubbaGump: Not quite there yet!

ky72x: It wasn't a random plothole in the end! Nothing IS! 11.gif

Gilgone: The term for it would be "iconic."

Benedict: The creators of the show did it pretty well.

Great banner there, Mr. Freeze's red goggles really stand out. Nice SC4 shot of the cemetery entrance, it represents the comic one spot-on! Keep up the good work, and Merry Christmas to you, too.

    SpecialEddie,

42 pages, and only 2 or 3 replies from me...I feel a bit embarrassed. I must say, I truly enjoy reading the continuing story of Batman through your comic strips, I had a try on making a comic strip in photoshop, and I must say, It's much harder than it looks! You make it seem so easy, with your updates from left and right! The action scenes feels like watching a movie, I don't usually get that satisfaction from reading, so really, very nice job on them! The Batman pictures, along with the dead-on recreations of the scene you recreate in SC4 really makes for an incredible City Journal. Congratulations on your Trixie win, It was very deserved!

I'll be reading and lurking, great job with this long-running and fine CJ.

    Merry Christmas 40.gif

    The Laughing Fish

The snowstorm brought upon the city by Mr. Freeze is slowly subsiding. In place of ice, the city is experiencing a torrent of rain. Meanwhile, mutated fish are turning up in Gotham's waters, their ghastly grins oddly familiar. Behind these "laughing fish" however, is an extraordinary plot that can only be thought up by a man whose irrationality knows no limits. The Joker.

    Giligone: Merry Christmas, Giligone!

football_fever: Not if you suck the yolk out with a straw...

    BubbaGump: Glad you like it.

pat: Thanks for the comment and Merry Christmas. However, that bloodstream was there already.

purpledaddy: You and your purple suit seem to be busy this Christmas! 38.gif

    ky72x: Merry Christmas, ky72x.

suplado! I like to make my updates seasonal. Halloween, Christmas, etc.

Godzillaman: I was actually going to smention global warming but thought better of myself. 3.gif

    GreekMan: Glad you like it.

ilikehotdogsalot: Thanks for the lengthy reply! Concerning the comic strips, however...Shhh! I don't use Photoshop. It took a lot of experimenting to make the comic strips and pages, but I got the hang of it. If you need any help, just ask. Once again, thanks for commenting and stop by soon.

Laughing fish, this storyline is going to be good! Nice work on the wharf, especially that diagonal area with the piers. The area surrounding the port looks nice as well, I liked the W2W buildings and the retaining walls. Keep it up!

I see that you're still up to that super-duper frequent updating of yours. I'm glad to see nothing's changed.

As for the update, nice use of those wharf and marina lots (PEG's right?). I also like how the whole wharf is positioned at a lower level than the town. It makes the area look quite realistic (the retaining walls added a lot).

PS: It's a little late but congratulations on winning the Trixie. I nominated your CJ for "grimy city" but "best story" is well fitting too.
