Gotham Square Garden is actually round architecture-wise but nevertheless always manages to draw crowds to its arena seats. Though it is located in one of the city's grittier commercial districts, the arena hosts the Gotham Gators (winner of 5 NBA titles) and the Gotham City Ice Devils (not quite as impressive a hockey team).

However, due to recent events concerning poisoning in athletes, the Garden has temporarily cancelled all upcoming sports events--the most recent of which was a horse exhibition...

Giligone: I made these updates months ago, so all I have to do is upload them. Always plan I head, I say! 9.gif

    tohokingdom: What's memory?

flame1396: Well, I don't draw these panels--they're DVD screencaps from the show. All I have to do is add dialogue and make the scripts. Quick and simple.

BubbaGump: Thanks! I guess it DOES hint to Gordon's prediction about escalation in Begins...

Nice pictures! MSG blend in exceptionally well with its neighbors. Great work on getting the area to look its best. Keep up the excellent work, and I can't wait for the next update!

6.gif The arena and the surrounding area itself is astonishing! There are a few abandoned buildings but the color filter really makes it look gritty! Nice blend of art-deco and contemporary architecture as well!

    The Scarecrow's back...with a vengeance!

connorc24: Thanks, realism is what I aim for.

    GreekMan: Thaaaanks. Extra a.

ky72x: The surrounding area wasn't exactly how I liked it, so I replopped, demolished, and replopped some more. It's tedious work, but it gets the job done.

pat: Don't be too hard on yourself. 2.gif Still catching up on Jetix? I've caught a few episodes now and then, though I'm more into watching the Superman ones (I don't have those on DVD). I was going to do Metropolis before Gotham, but it turned out into a mess. Who knows...maybe I'll restart that project.

BubbaGump: I WISH there were more abandoned buildings. Would've given it that nice Detroit look.

    Dang! Missed it again.

The parts of town that you show always look great and realistic. As if Gotham City was actually real. I've observed that before but I only remembered to say this after cruising through the previous pages.

Cool update. Confusing - new plot-lines usually are though.

I bet you loved the "thebirds" cheat for SC3k. 3.gif Assuming you had it.

The Scarecrow targets the Gotham Knights' star quarterback!

calibanX: Yep. Props to Glenni for that, he made it.

    GreekMan: Glad you like it.

pat: Thanks again for stopping by!

Benedict: Thanks! I particularly liked that scene as well. I based it off this one comic book.

Deever: Realism has always been my style (even since Oasis) and I guess I've applied a bit of that into this CJ project as well. I never liked the art-deco fantasy feel of Batman 1989, but did enjoy the subtle and gritty realism of Batman Begins. I took a lot of inspiration from that, as well as Chicago and New York (mostly Chicago).

    tohokingdom: Yeppers peppers.

Giligone: Thanks Giligone! Glad you're following so intently. 44.gif

    Monday night football--nice!

Wonderful SC4 shots, and the movement of characters is pretty nice--especially since these are screencaps not moving animation.

    Damn that vial!!!

Wow, you sure do know how to create a climax.

I didn't know that these were on DVD.

    I'm totally buying them.

    And Batman Beyond.

I really like how you use different stadiums for different scenes. All three stadiums that you used were great. The story is getting intense, I can't wait for the conclusion! Keep it up.

Happy Halloween! Tomorrow Fear of Victory concludes, and I'm proud to celebrate Gotham City's belated 900th reply as well as its recent 7,000th view!

tohokingdom: Buy the DVDs! Support the industry!

ky72x: Glad you noticed that! I used the Japanese Stadium for exterior shots, the Toyota Center for interior, and the football field itself for the game scenes. Good eye!

    GreekMan: Thanks!

Let's get this to the next page...and Happy Halloween!

Hell in a test tube. . . who would've thought. Great stadium; too bad the whole place has to be at the verge of pandemonium.

    . . . and happy Halloween!
