You did some fine work with East Gotham, dilapidated buildings and all.

Doesn't Dent watch the movies and notice the clichés? Everybody hates the DA! He's in trouble now.

Very impressive! Probably your grittiest yet, even moreso than the Narrows. The color filter really makes it depressing. Interesting bio on Harvey Dent too...for the man who has everything soon to lose it all...

Harvey Dent begins to lose control.

    GreekMan: Thank you!

football_fever: You know it's hard out here for a pimp...

csgcseri: I'm confused. I made it look like a slum and you're happy with that, but it doesn't look bad? 42.gif

Deever: Who watches movies for the cliches? 3.gif

KingTitan: Was that really neccessary? 3.gif

Godzillaman: Hey haven't seen you in a while. But let's wait for the story to unfold...

    BubbaGump: Why thank you! 9.gif

Having the police station right next to the building is both unrealistic and quite realistic. Unrealistic since crime wood seem low in that area but realistic because all of those police cars are parked there, which goes along with this update well. I also like how you added helicopter spotlights to the shots where the building is shown. Keep up this good work, Eddie!

Did I forget to comment? I read it...hmmm...

I didn't know that two-face had been a friend of Bruce Wayne. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Batman finds out his enemy was his good friend.

Maroni begins to plan Harvey Dent's downfall. Meanwhile, the D.A. himself is continuing to have problems controlling his own aggression...

Insane Child of Bodom: Thanks, er, Insane Child. 2.gif

    frogface: Interesting times indeed...

csgsceri: Thanks. You've always been one of my best readers.

Godzillaman: *sigh* We've had issues with you not being able to see pictures before. 3.gif

ky72x: You're not supposed to NOTICE the police station. 2.gif Think of it as a movie set. In the film (the update), the station isn't actually right next to the building itself. I just wanted the mass of patrol cars right next to the weapons werehouse.

football_fever: There will be indeed a moment where Bruce Wayne vows to save his friend. However, that won't be for a while now. Maybe...10 updates away. This is a particularly big epic. The episode itself was a two-parter. Hmm...

Hmm. My own interpretation of shades of agression is the way the frames around the panels turn purple when Harvey gets agitated. Very interesting.

It was also quite entertaining to see the parallel between Maroni and Stromwell in this one--how they both push their cronies aside when they're watching the news on TV. 3.gif

Great update. Lots of symbolism in this one: justice, duality, etc. etc. 44.gif

hmmm.... it seems i missed a couple of updates. sorry! anyway, i'm liking this particular storyline; a man battling his inner demons, a scenario that some people (including myself) have dealt with. i'll be sure to drop in a little more frequently in the future!

Okay, okay. Then I DIDN'T notice the police station. 3.gif

The opening for this update was nice, I like how the panels were once again black and white for the television set. Good building choice for his penthouse as well. Maroni's facial expressions are really funny to look at. They were making some pretty good jokes, too. "Dent's so clean, he squeaks." That made me laugh a lot. 4.gif

I liked how you had all those cars in the front of the manor, just like how it is in the show. Nice effects. Dent's campaign poster looks quite funny to me, his facial expression is pretty cheesy. I also think the purple panels look very nice, it reflects the current mood even more. There were quite a few details in this update! The story is flowing along well also. Keep it up. 9.gif

BubbaGump: Good eye! 44.gif That mob-TV thing is a running gag within the storylines. I decided to keep it in to see if anyone would notice it. Good thing, too.

Dsrwhat316: Thanks for the comment. Keep battling your, uh, demons...

ky72x: You sure like those black and white TV sets...We'll also be seeing more of Maroni's penthouse in the storyline, Vendetta, but that won't be for a while. I do admit that Maroni's expressions were off sometimes, but hey--that's the glory of animation.

Glad you noticed the cars in front of the manor too. I didn't want to show too much of it, because the manor is out of scale. Gotta agree with you on the poster. He does seem to be in a dreamy state...

Hmm, what would Bruce have to keep secret?

Poor Harvey. Being a DA in a town where all the judges are paid off would be a tough tough job.

Who watches movies for the cliches?quote>

No one (I think). They just appear in movies; sometimes in an obvious manner, sometimes not, sometimes not at all.

. . . I know that question was meant to be rhetorical but I wanted to answer it anyway.

Going back on topic; I like the idea of using a Maxis original as Maroni's penthouse. You didn't have to search for some unique building on the net.

That Dent guy is a loose cannon (obviously). Looking forward to what's gonna set him off.

Mercy Hospital, a subdivision of the Gotham State University medical campus, is a medical center well-known for its psychiatric ward. Here, patients from the nearby Arkham Asylum are examined and diagnosed. However, the hospital also offers psychiatric sessions for an hourly fee.

-Hospitals tend to be a recurring theme in this CJ...2.gif

football_fever: Bruce's secret is him being Batman, of course. Thanks for stopping by, FF, your visits are becoming enjoyingly frequent.

Deever: Maroni's penthouse is one of my favorite Maxis buildings. People don't give the creators enough credit. There are some beautiful jewels in the default batch.

    Benedict: 9.gif Welcome back, Benedict!

KingTitan: You kinda took that a bit too seriously. I think you failed to notice the smiley in the end. Just like your comment was all in good fun, so was mine (and it was pretty obvious too). I really don't see the need to be over-dramatic.

Another great showcase of Gotham City architecture. The surroundings compliment the hospital really well.

You don't say... 3.gif I agree with BubbaGump, the surrounding buildings look just beautiful. The little turnout you have for the hospital is also pretty nice. The more little details on the sidewalks, the better. Keep it up!

Let's get this baby to the next page!

    politicman: 38.gif

Godzillaman: Yeah, you kinda got carried away there. 2.gif

BubbaGump: Thanks. I wanted the shot to look right, so placed specific buildings that would make the layout more eye-pleasing.

Benedict: Thanks, Benedict, oh faithful reader.

ky72x: I like to think of the hospitals as symbols of the sickness of these characters (mentally and physically). Batman is tortured by his parents' deaths, many of his villains are insane or unstable. The hospital represents all these important aspects of Gotham City. But then again, that's just my own interpretation.

Glad you liked the little roundabout as well. I tend to put a lot of detail in my cities.
