STEX Use

Hey Everyone,

A bit a of a stupid question probably, but I am pretty new to SimCity 4 and was wondering, I saw a lot of buildings in the ST-Exchange and I was wondering how they work.

Do they automatically grow? Do you plop them? How do you even put them into the game to use them?

That question has no one answer. These dowloads come in zipped files that you unzip and possibly install in your plugins folder. How they function depends on the type of lot. Utilities lots (stations, bus stops, power plants) are all ploppable, as are the parks/recreation and RCI ploppable (duh)! Commercial, residential, and industrial lots are different. Some downloads have growable and ploppable versions of their buildings, some are just ploppable, and some are just growable. In addition, you may come across reward lots which, I think, are the greatest; I just love to push myself to reach the requirements! Hope this helps!
