Waterfront City

Hiya!

This is my first time posting a CJ. It's also my first time using ploppable water.

Please go easy on me! lol...

Anyway, here's some shots of my city... I've since expanded it into the region.

With the city... I'm aiming to expand it enough so that it reaches the outskirts of my region.

This is sorta like the city center.

(Oh and by the way, only 5 buildings here are landmarks. The rest grew on their own.)

Wow, the canal system's cool! A few of the buildings seem to be out of place (too tall) but if that's you're style then it looks cool.

Thanks guys. Currently I'm working on expanding the city... More pics will be released soon.

And the tall tower is the Supertower Center by xyloxadoria.

Lol and also the skyline has changed a fair bit from these pics now... It seems a bit more even now... xD

Ok I've resaved the pics as JPEGs... They might not have shown before because sometimes internet explorer doesn't accept PNGs...

Anyways more pics! I've extended the city center out to another small zone... Waterloo Studios! (Please excuse my total lack of creativity)

And here's an update on The Waterfront... The skyline has changed a fair bit.

And here's a little region view shot of the skyline... Please excuse the fuzzyness lol... But it gives a general idea of what it looks like.

Right now I'm working on a large zone located right below these two. Hopefully I'll have it finished soon... ;; But I kinda got  heap of new games for my DS today and I'm obsessed with them (Simcity DS = Drool... 8D)

And if you're wondering, I am not going to be infesting the entire region with skyscrapers. Those two zones are building up the core skyline, and the zones around them directly will be mid/low-density, and then around that will be all low-density.

normally i dislike cities that are all skyscraper, but this looks nice. try and cut down on repeats though.

@patriots_1228: Heh thanks, but don't worry. These two (small) tiles are the city core. I'm not actually making the ENTIRE region skyscraper infested... I don't like cities like that either.

@JanYpe: Oh yes! It's very real! LMAO. Nah... I dunno why I added the loop... But I reckon I placed it in a good location. Right next to the Kia/Hyundai building lol.

Ok well now that I've finally been able to put my DS down after hours of solid playing of Simcity DS... I'm going to return to playing SC4 again. xD Hoping to have the next component of my city finished tonight (It's 10:08PM as I post this )

Also... I'm considering to do scenarios once I finish the bulk of the city... ;; I wouldn't mind having a few bombs go off here and there...

Mayhem is fun in SC4. xD
