All my GLR stations show up as brown boxes, and the entire sub-menu of transportation that they're in is messed up. How can I fix this?

You need to go back to the download pages and read them carefully for downloadable dependencies.  You might also check to see if these are mentioned in the read me files that should have unpacked with the lots.

I have essentially every dependency known to man from both the STEX and the LEX. That's definitely not the problem here.

Good grief!  What size is your plugin directory?  It is possible that you have too many plugins and simply can't handle them in the space available.  Remember that all plugins load into memory and are paged to virtual memory (paging file) when not needed immediately.  If you have more than about 5GB of plugins, it is definitely pruning time.

Haha my Maxis/SimCity 4/Plugins directory is 1.44 GB. I've downloaded every desired file on the STEX, including all possible dependencies... Possibly it has something to do with the locked dependancies that I can't seem to find anywhere else.

The thing is though, I've had to re-download everything since I had to erase my hard drive.. And all the stations worked before.

EDIT: Also, I have 2GB of RAM and a decently fast computer. 1.83 GHz

There is only one reason you would get a brown box, that is you don't have all of the dependencies. If they are not on the STEX, you may have to check the other sites, some stuff has been moved. Did the stations come with NAM? If so, and you have installed the June version, the GLR is now a sparate install.

NOB's GLR stations (translator only said that they require the F Texture, which I have)

One of Ill Tonkso's GLR stations (never required dependencies before)

I believe one of them was an NDEX GLR station (I have the NDEX essentials and Texture MEGA Pack)

If you have, or want to get SC4Tools, I think you can load the stations, and it should list the dependencies. I have not tried that on others lots, but it will on my custom lots.

Well I have no idea what's going on still.. They never required dependencies before, since I had no trouble downloading them previously. The actual buildings on the lot don't show up, and when I open the files in the Lot Editor, they don't show up there either.

When you installed these stations, did you remember to include all parts of the BAT.  A BATted lot consists of a .sc4lot, .sc4desc, and a .sc4model file.  Some or all may be combined in a .dat file.  If you only put the .sc4lot file in your plugins, the image from the .sc4model is not present.

It seems you have installed the "Draggable GLR Stations Patch" only.

As its name says, it's only the patch files to make the existing stations to the Draggable GLR compatible. Not the actual stations.

You need to install the actual station, and the patch file should be loaded after that.

I have the patch... file which has very many things inside, and a stand-along glr station set.... it's weird.. with the patch... it creates waaaaay too many choices in the misc transit window... I hope you know what I mean.

You only need to copy and paste the patch files for the stations you have (read the file names carefully). So... you will need the station files and the patch for that station. I believe the readme says to put the patch (it will start with 'z') in the same folder as the station file. If you use all the patches without having the stations, it will create strange things in your misc. transportation menu.

Oops, I think I put in ALL the patch files... I will have to figure it out.... so, find the station I want, and only patch it... but if I hover over them.. the game still crashes?
