You'll have to download the Lot Editor from EA, and make you own lots before placing the props on.

Veritas International Airport.

Careful, that's a huge picture. If you still see white screen after its loaded, start scrolling. You're in the upper left corner (which is obv. white). I told you it's big 2.gif.

Thanks. It took around ~4-6 hours to build the airport, and around 40minutes to paste that mosaic together. I will lot some of tabi planes, i promise 4.gif. Especially those A380 props look really neat.

//edit: Well, i just had a look at tabi's site, and especially at the concorde prop 6.gif, i guess i have to lot a lot ^_^. Also your plane models look fantastic, pilotdaryl! I will also need to create some lots to simulate activity on my run- and taxiways.

Diamond: Great airport so far, it's nearly perfect. There are only some things I would miss at this airport: cargo area and gates, hangars for the huge planes (I saw many 747s), a refilling unit and a little bit more parking areas.

Anyway, well done

That is a very impressive airport Mr. Diamond, one of the best I have seen here. And it's very realistic, except that I don't see how people get to the right terminal, underground rail maybe?

Thank you 4.gif. I'm going to redo the area with the military planes and will add a cargo and maintenance center. Currently i have no idea where to add parking lots, but i think about it!

Underground trams are the most common way. Seattle-Tacoma International (KSEA) runs trams out to its north and south terminals and Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International (KATL) also has a system of trams between terminals.

Terminal Two has completed its renovation.

The interior was fully renovated to bring it up to modern standards. The historic lobby and check-in area is still there however the wings to the sides are no longer in use and have been replaced by the central terminal passage which is attached to 10 gates built in the 1960's. The gates were replaced in the renovation this year.

There is a drive through section at the front of the terminal inorder to quickly pick up arriving passengers and drop off departing passengers. The road can get quite congested in the morning.

The terminal is used for international flights of Ionic and Air Newport. Genavan uses the terminal as well as Geolines flights to Genava.

Please note that my airport contains only Adrian Union airlines made by either myself or Kumba.

Visit the Adrian Union's large aviation forum for a better insight into airlines operating there:

giorgos69: 6.gif did you make that terminal?

And the planes... look nice! 9.gif  Don't mind sending some of 'em to me?  As long as I find a plane I've never seen in SC4 before, I am always asking for em... 3.gif

giorgos69 or anybody else: I've got a lot of aircraft props (Kumba's 767 and tabinohito's other planes). I already managed to make them as lots (in Lot Editor). Now I would like to add a custom livery (In my gmax the BAT isn't working, is there another solution?)

No there isn't.

And the 767 is actually iFDG model, not made by Kumba available here for anyone interested: www.ifdg.net

Great Airports everybody, Especially yours, Giorgos!

Time for one of mine again:

MountClarke-17Jan051209244789.png

Ramp overview of Mount Clarke Airfield. Parking positions 1-4 are self maneuvering stands, pushback only required on stands 5 and six (On the left of the image above)

MountClarke-22Jan051209244806.png

A more detailed overview of the ramp, with the terminal in the background. It has been designed to handle 500.000 passengers p.a., a volume which is not expected to be reached until ten years from now.

MountClarke-29Dec041209244726.png

Here we have an overview of the Town of Mount Clarke. It has been built as a nucleus for development in the area, hence the large airport at such an early phase of development.

Enjoy, and don't get lost on the ramp ;-)

Impressive airfield! I would suggest adding a general aviation area and a larger turnaround at the east end of the runway.

Hello together. I posted a lot of comments in this thread. Now it's time to show an airport I've made:

It's the Bang Thep Int Airport. I will only show some night close-ups. The airport itself will posted in my cj Kaibesia  in a later update. But now the pics

It's night, here you can see the ultra modern terminal building (inspired by Suvarnabhume Airport Bangkok):

02terminalbld.jpg

A very late arriving flight is AF 235 from Paris CDG. Operated by  767-300ER the plane is short before touchdown:

03airfrance.jpg

After leaving the runway and the taxiways the plane reaches its final parking position (In the background you can see United Airlines B 747-400):

04airfranceatgate.jpg

And another pier shot. Singapore Airline's B747-400 is parking at the last gate. In the background the cargo area starts (UPS 757F):

I have tried to lot the a340, but they never showed up in my airports menu.

Ok, the lot base I am using is from voltare's Jets of The Sky. But they can't be saved as, so I need to overwrite the file, anyways, I still can't find the jetway I have lot.

The problem is, airports are a special category and can only be added to by 3rd party software (ILive). First you must open up a park (i.e. Open grass area). Then you have to texture it 9that's the pain). I used the 747 and CRJ jetways when I was lotting my aircraft. Then, just add it. You should be able to save it then. Hope I helped!

I think Tabi made some props that are in take off.

simsmart: I decided to let the palms be lighted.

The-Hutt: I will post an overview then, when I'll post the airport in my CJ (propbably also in this thread)

thinboy66: I lotted the a340 (by tabinohito) and other planes in the following way:

I took a lot, which I can "save as". In my case I took a plaza, placed in the park menu.

I changed the size of the lot (I suggest 5x5 or 5x6), added the base texture used in the other           aircraft lots (e.g by The Airport Team), added a line (overlay texture), which leads the plane to the gate, and after I added the airplane props. Then you can make it more realistic by adding jetways, stairways, cars, buses, freight or anything you want to.

And then I saved the lot as a name I wanted, and made it ready by using LEProp.

noypi07: Either you use the props by Kumba (767 only, I used for the Air France plane) and customize a part of the runway ( can also be over grass). The props by Kumba have the advanatge that the plane is in the typical sloped position.

The other way is that you use the props you like (I suggest the ones by tabinohito), place it on a runway or grass and then use Crtl+up (Crtl+down) to modify the heighth of the object.
