This might have been asked already but ShadeSlayer, droopie - where did you get the lots for parked aircraft that aren't 747s like the Iberia and Air France jets? I looked on the STEX and can't seem to find them.

Here's part of mine, which will be shown in my upcoming MD:

As you can tell, it's still under construction. I still have a long way to go, because there's going to be another pair of runways and two terminals on the other side of the highway in the lower right corner. It takes up about 1/3 of one city tile, and 1/3 of another I think.

Great runway layout. It appears you put the markers just about as they should be for a US precision instrument runway. I do see that you have very few taxiways off the runways though. Normally at either end, there will be several angling off to allow jets to clear the runway sooner so that another may land.

I like your airport, what terrain mod are you using, your ground is very yellow. Is it dead grass, if it is that is realistic, ive been to mutiple airpots where the grass is dead looking.

Good question... but I think they are for eye candy as they are just "lots" without animation. It would be nice if they could randomly dissapear & reappear like the other terminals. For now I'm just happy they look good

How do you get the night lights to work with the airport and secondly...Is there a way to get the new 747's and other new planes to move and fly around the airport?

The only way I can think of is to learn to use the BAT and model a 747, then learn how to create replacements for the default in-game flying aircraft. (Which I can't be bothered to learn to do. So don't ask.)

The terminal's a little crowded for the 747s to safely - or even in some cases, physically - get to their gates. You will notice that are real world airports, aircraft larger than 737s tend to be on the ends of terminals or in a satellite terminal way out away from the main terminal. Seattle-Tacoma International (KSEA) does it this way. Airports terminals require enough room for planes to turn and maneuver to their gates without risking hitting other aircraft. You can figure at least one and a half times the wingspan of the aircraft for your passages in.

I have a question, where did you get the 767's and stuff? The only airplane pack I've found is 747's and CRJs. Not that that's a bad thing, but you can't have all 747's.
