Plane crash into it and explode.  In the picture, there is a plane headed straight for the power plant.  KA-BOOM!!!quote>

It looks that way but I assume the aircraft I think you are referring to is supposed to be stationary.

Well, I can't resist showing off my airport, so feast your eyes on Braniff International Airport (BRF) located on the shores of Jackson Bay in scenic Fairdale.

fairdaleaug28001154017996copywf6.jpg

This aerial photo of Braniff International airport gives you an idea of the scale of the facility. Right now, the Airport Omni Resort & Spa and The Braniff International Marriot Hotel are still under construction and you can see a few of the neighboring facility buildings aswell as local hotels. The terminal has three concourses, (1) International Wing and (2) Domestic Wings. I felt the Braniff name was appropriate name for this airport as Braniff International Airlines was always about going against convention and ensuring that they stood out in the market. Plus, I have always loved the look of the 1960s "Jellybean" paint scheme on their Boeing 707s and 727s. It was such a great livery.

fairdaleaug28001154017869copyge0.jpg

Here is a better close up of the Main Terminal. This gives you a better view of the concourse layout as well as the Airport Days Inn, the newly opened Embassy Suites and the sites of the future Airport Omni Hotel & Spa and the Braniff International Marriot Hotel (it will sit on the construction site closet to the terminal building.)

Let me know what you think. But first, I have to give thanks to Voltaire for his amazing RMIP Airport lots. If you haven't seen them yet, you need to check out his thread. Also, thanks to ace_bovenopdeberg for his amazing new Airport Terminal Pack. Both of these talented individuals have created lots of the higest quality, and it shows.

Hope you all enjoy.

Ok, I apparently am having trouble posting the images of Braniff International. I have hosted them on Imageshack and then copied the URL into the topic as an image. However, the images are unstable and dissapear as soon as the page loads. Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

Xiziz,

I am glad that you can see my images. I guess it is something on my end. Whenever I load this page of the discussion with my own images, they appear as the page is loading, but once the page finishes loading, they dissapear. I am not sure if it is a problem on my end  with my settings or if it is something all together different. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Also, I was not registered at Imageshack, but I have now so hopefully it will be easier to upload new images.

Thanks for your help.

No problem, You might want to try to reuppload the pictures now that you are registred at Imageshack.

Other than that the only thing i can think of is a tip regarding actually taking the photographs ingame.

If you minimise the controlpanel(the one with all the buttons/map and such on), leave the game at slow speed and use "Ctrl+*****+S" to take screenshots you will fit a lot more into the images since it removes the pause lines and the controlpanel, it just makes overall nicer pics. Also you might want to turn off UDI buttons while taking pictures(in the udi menu).

Then its just to fold all the menus up and turn UDI on again when your done photographing.

The Airport looks really nice BTW, The ATCT looks a bit out of position just, there usually located behind the terminals, not infront. But it works there to ^^

Thanks for the help on this one Xiziz!

I have registered and re-uploaded my photos from Imageshack, but to no avail. I don't know what is going on her, because an image I used in another post of mine to Voltaire in his RMIP-2 Discussion is up, visible, and I can see it. Although, that is a picutre I found on the internet, not one I have tried to upload. Also, in te future, I'll be happy to minimize the control menu and UDI icons.

In response to the location of the ATCT, I am actually modifying the layout of the terminal and that includes moving the ATCT behind the terminal into a position similar to that seen at LAX or McCarran International Airport here in Las Vegas, NV. Also, I have moved my Parking structures and created a connection between them and the terminal building and in the place of the Brannif International Marriot Hotel, I have instead erected a memorial to the United and American Airlines passangers who lost their lives in the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. I felt that sort of monument was far more appropriate than a Hotel. In fact, I'll try uploading a picture of it and see if this works now.

fairdaledec22001154034418copyza9.jpg

You can see now that the ATCT has been relocated behind the terminal and is now easier to access. Secondly, you can easily see the 9/11 Memorial located to the right of the ATCT. Also, you can now see the new locations of the Airport Omni Hotel & Spa, the Brannif International Marriot Hotel and the brand new Ritz-Carlton Fairdale.

fairdaledec22001154034465copykj1.jpg

And here is a better close-up of what you saw above.

Well, I hope you all enjoy, and I'll keep you updated on any further changes or expansions when they happen.

Take care and stay fabulous!

Hey Xiziz,

I figured out what the problem has been this entire time. I have been posting the images in PNG format and not JPEG format. I converted one to JPEG using Adobe Photoshop, hosted it on Imageshack, and then reposted it in my post. Wouldn't you know it, problem solved.

Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting this matter.

Stay Fabulous!

I have a question. What building are really necessary to see the planes go up and down to your custom airport? who has some useful building tips?

For the RIMP packs, the ones containing the runways specificly which is the best runwaypack availible atm, there is a lot included that you place in the middle of your runway to se jets land and take off.

Having the taxiing and actually parking(docking) is unfortuantly not possible yet, and probably wont ever be.

"RMIP"

"SWAP"

"ACE modular Airport"

and that should really cover all your bases

Well, I have begun work on my newest Airport and I felt it was time to show it to you. So, please enjoy the new, Juan T. Trippe International Airport, gateway to the scenic beauty of future Clarksville.

clarksvillemay13021154828211copytv1.jpg

Juan T. Trippe International Airport is named for the incredible visionary and founder of Pan American World Airways or PanAm for short. Juan T. Trippe airport is built on an island to save valueable land mass on the main land and to reduce noise pollution.

sutter_trippe.jpg 0554834.jpg

This is by far the most famous photo of Juan T. Trippe as he views the globe in his office and plots out the newest routes for his brainchild, Pan American World Airways or PanAm. Next to Juan Trippe is a photo of a Pan Am Lockheed L-1011 taking of out of LAX back in 1984.

clarksvillemay23021154828257copyuv5.jpg

I have used Ace and Voltaire's new 707 designed ramps. I must say that the results are apparent and quite spectacular! Juan T. Trippe International has a total of 6 Concourse's with 2 dedicated to Regional flights and 4 for Domestic flights. You are currently viewing Concourse B & C, two of the Domestic concourse's.

clarksvillemay27021154828291copyta1.jpg

The sun has begun to set on Trippe International as we pan over to view Concourse A, one of the two Regional concourse's. This is Concourse A and like its counterpart Concourse F, is primarily serviced by BAE-146 Regional Jets but as pictured the ocaissonal turbo-prop arrives like this heavily upgraded and modified Lockheed Constellation.

clarksvillemay29021154828316copyua0.jpg

You are new viewing the Robert E. Gallion International Terminal of the Juan T. Trippe International Airport. This terminal was named for the newly elected mayor of Clarksville and for his spearheading of the plans to build Trippe International Airport. This terminal controls all of Trippe International's International operations including Customs and International ground traffic. The International ATCT can also supplement the main ATCT located in the main terminal when needed.

clarksvillejun5021154828356copyqy6.jpg

Finally, I wanted to show you the detail that comes with both Voltaire and Ace's new Airport Packs. This image shows the incredible night lighting from Voltaire's RIMP-2 taxiways and runways and you can still see all of the beauty of Ace's terminal and jetway's. If you still ahve not downloaded Ace and Voltaire's packs yet...PLEASE DO! As I have already said to them before, their work has earned an 11 out of 10! because, just like the band Spinal Tap, this scale goes to 11!

Well, I hope you enjoyed viewing the new Juan T. Trippe International Airport and please feel free to leave your questions, comments, and feedback! Thank you all!

Remember, Stay Fabulous!

This is...... sort of an airport for cargo freight

znpscjkaguyateaserrj5.jpg

(Ward of Kaguya Goten, Zanapolis)

This is the "airport" of my sci-fi city

znpscjCACoutnite.jpg

(Ward of Kinsei Kaigan, Zanapolis)

The airport, or Commercial Aircraft Carrier "Scarlet Pheonix" has a maglev-catapult assisted runway that is 1280m long. The front section consists of airport hotels and duty-free shops. The middle section is the passenger dock and terminal (if you zoom in, you can see check-in counters). Hangers and other facilities take up the rear part.

znpscjCACin.jpg

A zoom-in shot of the middle section, and below is the another shot of the front part.  The 2 lifts can be operated separately, and for big aircrafts, can be moved at once. The red bird emblem near the bow is where the name of this aircraft carrier comes from.

Bon Voyage!!!

is that fence used here on the STEX? Or can somebody tell me where to find it, I search for fences and airports but didn't find it.
