    GREAT INTERCHANGES, PART II

Here are the rest of the great interchanges. Dutilia is full of them (the low-zoom picture in mosaic). Little Lake boasts a huge one of two dual highways passing and then one splitting.

UPPER PATRICIAN CITY - PART I

This is a mountain region. This is the first city in the region, called Extraea. This is an outer suburb, connected to Highway 1 via a T-Interchange.

UPPER PATRICIAN CITY - PART II

    THE COAST

This is Maryville, near the coast. It consists of two main neighborhoods, connected via the Coastal Highway (mentioned in the last update). Here is the northern one:

    maryvillejun11111815859pu1.jpg

This is the southern end of the South Neighborhod. The residents are linked to their workplaces not only by highway, but by train as well.

A closeup of the southern area:

    maryvillemay29111181585px0.jpg

and the highway which connects the two:

    maryvillemay30111181585xk8.jpg

and, accoding to local legends, a volcano erupted near Maryville 890 years ago. It may still erupt....

    BIG HIGHWAYS AND BIG BEAUTY

After months of deadness, PATRICIAN CITY has returned. I have had more important matters in those months, however, I have been building, and the big highways and big beauty is here.

    Southern Hills Region:

    southtownfeb21141195831xi7.jpg

and to the north is Cliffdale:

To the far west is a remote outpost called Mountain View (still in development):

That is all for this update.

    COMING NEXT - THE MEGALOPOLIS

Well, here it is - the Megalopolis. Warning: LOTS of screenshots. The Megalopolis is an informal name for the region west of Patrician City called "Alphopolis". You will also find some interchanges there worth driving on.

Great and huge update! I suggest you try to get rid of the unemployment. Some buildings showed a no job sign. Keep up the good work.

Nice pics there, just a tip: try adding more trees to the rural pics above but the latest update is very nice. The greenery around the interchanges and highway junctions is very nicely done.

    TERRACIA

Today I have a rather small update to deliver - which belongs to a city recently incorporated called TERRACIA. It has been developed by the Patrician government for classified reasons - but some news reporters have cited rumors of construction of a space fleet....

    WEST TERRACIA

I have a small update today, in the city of WEST TERRACIA. Here's an RHW tunnel:

    westterraciajul20612045hi7.jpg

AND -- IT'S PUBLIC! The Patrician Empire is launching space cargo vehicles to build a spacedock in orbit:

    Comments welcome.

Well um... alright, looking at all the pictures and how much you've devoloped your cties and highways it is imperssive indeed, however; as for looks no offense it looks ugly to me. For example you have a space shuttle right next to some medium sized buildings thats not only an eye sore but very unrelastic (I love real looking cities). You have some devlopments where it looks like you just mass zoned them giving them nothing they need to become more than just R$ wastelands. Also I'm not sure as to how well your highway system works since I don't see cars on them.

Don't take my comment as harsh because you have done a good job with your plannning and growing, I'm just expressing what isn't eye appealing to me.

    SOUTHERN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A small showcasing today, not really an update. I have downloaded the RMIP-2 series and some other airport material from the STEX. I experimented this morning and here's what I got:

    southernhillsinternatioqz1.jpg

    Overview of the 2 runways:

    southernhillsinternatioyi8.jpg

    And the East Terminal:

    southernhillsinternatioht9.jpg

Please rate the realism/believability of this airport.

And as always, comments and/or suggestions are welcome.

Great job with the terminals, but I think you should have more room in between those two runways.
