Welcome to the region of Riverton.

RivertonBanner.jpg

This new region has, and is being, terraformed by myself.  Thanks to Jacq for the suggestion of doing my own terraforming.  I have not finished terraforming the entire region, but about a quarter of it.  I will start building some small rural cities, and maybe one large one total.  I hope you all like this new CJ.  I appologise now, but my CJ's aren't known for their great, and in depth storylines.  I occasionally will write a little blurp on some of my pictures, but there is indeed no serious story line.

looks very inpressive I don't care about the past of your CJ's if they are bad in your opinion but I care about your latest greatest CJ which is clearly still being terraformed. Good luck I'll be watching and commenting.

    River Meadows

River Meadows has just been founded by Mayor Z.  The city has a few large mountains.  The tallest being Bald Mountain.

    BaldMountain.jpg

Many decades ago Bald Mountain erupted into a flaming mound of dirt.  Spewing magma and molten rocks into the air, it burned all the trees that were on it.

    BaldMountainErupts.jpg

While many trees have found their home once again upon the mountain, none have grown on it's peak.  Rumor is that Bald Mountain is expected to erupt once again.  Nonetheless, Mayor Z has begun to settle on the other side of the river from Bald Mountain.

    cleaner475, thanks for the confidence.

grant93, I hope it doesn't disappoint you.  It always helps to know the hot keys when volcanos are erupting.

schulmanator, thanks.  That means a lot coming from you.  Your CJ is awesome.

Nice, looks like a Central- European region! I like the shorelines very much, I am sure you can get something really cool out there! About 40 km away from my hometown we have such an old volcano, it's just the old core of magma, everything else had eroded, and there's a castle build on top of that peak. The surrounding area is well known for its' wine, its' ham (which is similar to the Italian prosciutto) and its' fruits.

    Looking forward to more,

    take care,

    lucky7

    Update #2

    RiverRailway.jpg

The River Meadow River Railway has been busy building a new railway to connect River Meadows to the world at large.  There were some minor set backs when they had to blast their way through the base of Z Mountain.

    Farms.jpg

River Meadows has begun to burst with many new farms.  The rich soil has highly encouraged the many farms in the region.  The rich soil has been linked to the presense of the Bald Mountain Volcano.

    FlowerFarm.jpg

One of the many farms in River Meadows is Steve's Ornamental Flower Farm.  Offering many different varieties of flowers, it is very popular in the city.  Especially during this season when the town is full of the fragrent smell of the flowers.

    ZStream.jpg

Z Stream runs from Z pond into Z River.  It has been restricted to build too close to Z Stream in fear that it will contaminate its waters.

    RiverMeadowFarms.jpg

The starting of the small town of River Meadows.

On a side note.  Some of you might have noticed I changed rockmods.  I decided to go with Lava Rock, for obvious reasons.  That and the red rock was getting a little old(even though I like it a lot).  Enjoy!

Schulmanator ~ Thanks.  Most of the farms are from Schmails, and SimGoober.  They are a lot of fun.

homeandaway ~ Thanks, Alex.  I hope that my new CJ doesn't disappoint you any.  Thanks for the post.

Jacq ~ Well, I took your suggestion to heart.  I actually was planning on using a different region, and it just didn't seem right.  That and it was taking a lot of terraforming to make it "farm"worthy.  So, I decided to do what you said, and terraform it myself.

*****atoo ~ Thanks.  Terraforming is a lot fun.  I'm sure that there will be a huge variety of landscape in this CJ.

cleaner475 ~ That's again for your vote of confidence.  I hope it continues to please you.

powerdc ~ Thanks.  Like I told*****atoo, terraforming is a lot of fun.

cloudyhill ~ I sure hope so.

Jammy ~ yeah, I wouldn't too much, though it might be a little fun/dangerous/fun.

Lucky7 ~ That's my favorite number, btw.  Anywho, thanks for the post.  That's crazy.  Good thing it's dormant, right?

flame1396, hehe.  There's supposed to be a play on words.  But, I can understand what you mean.  hehe.

Godzillaman, thanks.  I really like making the railroads in my cities.  I like to make them carve in and out of the mountains because that what they do where I'm from.

Jacq, glad you like it.  I hope the next update is better. 2.gif

cleaner475, thanks for the comment.  I hope the next update is what you're expecting.
