Yello again

If you happen to be watching my progress on the City Hall Bat have no fear, for I have redone the Bat. If you have seen my older thread, the building looked somewhat undetailed and had no texture. I was planning on adding those at the end or i a later step. Turns out I didn't like that idea. So then I deleted the two towers and added texture to the base. And now Ive begun work on the taller tower. Well ive got to get to the bus stop in 5 minutes so yea! torontocityhall009wq0.pngtorontocityhall007zd2.png

When you do preview renders, make sure it says "1:1" at the top. 

For the glass mullions, look at the real building and count how many there are there.  Also, use google earth to measure the size of the different parts of the buildings.

Read the BAT tutorials in the omnibus and the texturing tutorial in my signature for good advice on texturing.

It looks like you're off to a good restart.

amazing modeling but the textures are weird on the back part of the building. read some of the texturing tutorials.

    Update: I relized what the problem for the building was, i had to apply a new UAW map.

    So far Ive textured the entire taller tower and added night lights. The roof texture I plan on creating myself. Ive started work on the shorter tower  which im doing exactly like the first tower. Thanks for the comments, and the tutorials are great help. 5.gif Although its a bit early to be thinking about future Bats, I think I'll make a really good batter.

    Oh, and how do I make sure it says "1:1"? It only does when I preview thumbnails, and thats way too small to see any details.
