Hair and Hair Products - What, How & Result

Hey there -  I have identified vital questions of grooming that must be answered.

1.  What hair product do you use?
2.  How do you use it?
3.  How long does it take you?
4.  What was your worst hair day?
5.  What was your best hair day?

The ST General Off Topic section needs to know!

Soooo .... without further ado ....

What:  I use -  Dax Wax - Wave and Groom, Hair Dress - Made Especially for Short Hair.
Image008-1.jpg
How:  Out of the shower - quick rub with the towel, little wax, rub between hands, make some heat, over the hair - done.  Occasionally a couple of swipes with a round concave plastic comb but not always.

How long:   Less than 20 seconds.

Result:

Worst hair day:  A bad hair day for me is when I am in such a rush that I forget to put the product in and the girls at work give me a hard time about it all day.  You get comments like....
Oooooh you've got fluffy hair.....
However in an emergency I have been known to use lube gel or ultra sound gel ...  both readily available at the clinic where I work.

Best Hair Day:  A couple of years ago my boss, (Charge Nurse) jokingly said I should dye my hair purple - so I did!
I have also had copper highlights done a couple of times as well - quite stylely.

Lol weird topic. Anyway, my hair is not naturally how it is, I wish it was. It takes a small glob of gel each morning. There's no style to it, it's really just spiked up, and that's it!

I use ShockWaves or VO5, I prefer using it on my hair when it is shorter, but not too short. It is about right just now.

I use it most mornings, but sometimes if I leave it in over-night and I've been sleeping in a awkward position my hair will look really messed up, I'm tlaking serious bed-hair, but thats how I like it!

Takes me around 20-30 seconds, but if my hair is quite long it can take a while to stop it from looking stupid.

The worst hair day I had was the recent Red Nose Day, I foolishly let my class-mates put red spray in my hair when our teacher was out of the room, and my hair came out pink instead of red...

he he!, lol

right -

1) - I use L'OREAL paris, special FX studio. (long lasting effect)

2) - I use it every morning, wet my hair a little, just plop a blob on the tip of my hands, wipe it together, and wipe it on the hair closest to my eyes and smooth it down to my eyes.

3) - It takes me about a minute or so.

4) - My worst hair day was....(ill have a think), but on staurdays (today) when i get back from swimming - my hair is all fluffy and ball-y.

EDIT -

5) - my best hair day was when i decided to do a 'david beckham' style, went to school looking cool and more people talked to me!.

Nioxin.

It costs $30 per bottle on sale. But it's worth it. It has a special ingredient in it which pulls testosterone out of your scalp thus preventing hair loss. Since I started using it, my hair loss has halted and I'm actually getting a bit of regrowth too. 9.gif

Woah, that sounds cool, a very clever and logical idea. Hopefully it will be a wee bit longer before I need that stuff though! 18.gif

No, back to topic;

I use a wax called Evocativ, though I normally use a Fudge wax that isn't so creamy.

Most wax works on my hair, I try to keep it short, or somewhat short... I have quite curly blonde hair.

take care,

I use whatever gel is cheapest. This usually means the brand they have at walmart. Ive found the most effective way to avoid having flaky bits when it dries out is just to not use a whole lot of the stuff

anyways, for some reason is getting really curly lately, it doesnt make sense and looks stupid. Recently I had it cut short but now it looks worse 15.gif

    Johnsons Baby Shampoo.

Wash hair,  dry, comb. Repeat daily.

That used to work for me. Now it just makes my hair stiff.

Hair products? . . . Oh nothing special. Just that anti-dandruff Head and Shoulders shampoo, also known as the Evolution Shampoo (based on the movie). I just hate it when that dandruff accumulates and sprinkles "snow" wherever you go.
