How to get Train Stations from STEX to work???

maybe this has been asked before, but i couldn't find it via the search. Anyway I would appreciate every hint... With the UB-patch I just started to build cities on my iMac. I'm used to all these nice transportation-add-ons I find here on STEX (especially the train stations). But I just noticed that they do not work on my mac. I got all dependencies abut the capacity of most of the stations is only 2-5 people. Mosly I install the SimGoober train stations, but also Ill Tonsko and others are affected by this flaw. only this one is are actually working but freight trains cannot pass through: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=12141 I got the Props files mostly from sc4devotion.com (because all these mega-packs are locked here) and installed them using boot-camp. so they should be up to date. One cannot build a working mass transportatoin system without files from STEX, so how do I get them working???

Advice sums up to be "get a PC" is NOT allowed on this board!  It's unhelpful and insulting.

I still hope someone tells me I should just use a special mac-version of some prop-file or I'm missing something I've not thought about...

booting windows to play SC4 sucks...

Before I continue, may I ask if you have Windows on your iMac? If so, there's a very easy way to fix this yourself. It's not a bug. It's simply a small difference between the way the PC code and the Mac code were written.

I'll get back to you as soon as I can with more details as I'm a bit busy right now.

Okay, since it sounds like you have Windows on your Mac, download The ILive Reader from the Modds and Downloads section here. Then open the lot file with the Reader, and click "Fill the List." There will be two "Exemplar files", and the property that we want to edit is in the first one. When you find the "Transit Switch Traffic Capacity" property, right click it and choose "Edit property." It should open up a new window, and at the top, there is a text box that says "Rep = 1" Simply change the Rep. from 1 to 0, save the lot, and you're done.

If that was too confusing, I can post a tutorial with pics.

I know there's a way to do it with the Reader, but I'm not sure exactly how.

Hey, nice to hear, that it works so easily.

If you are modifying succesfully some train stations - do you think it would be possible to share them with whose mac users who don't have windows?

I am asking because I have the very same problem here (as well as all other mac users), but am unable to fix it myself.

I always thought that would be the reason for the BSC Mac-Archive. I do not really dare to share stuff without permission of the author and it seems like this guy already has them.

I'm not quite sure if it all worked so well, the new stations still seem to behave quite strange. Although SimGoober wrote his stations are now freight-enabled, it seems that they are not. This might or might not also be a mac-specific problem but I did not figure out how to set traffic-properties with this tool. So, still, can anyone help me with that??
