Mountains of Mourning -Lois McMaster Bujold  was part of the

Vorkosigan Saga , this story was interesting enough for me to go buy the ones i could find, Shards Of Honor and The Warrior's Apprentice

Bears Discover Fire-Terry Bisson an interesting story were bears well ,,, discover fire.

The Manamouki-Mike Resnik another of his Kenya stories

The Hemingway Hoax-Joe Haldeman  a wierd story about alternate universes.

It made me think of Indiana Jones, for some reason.  It was alright, though.  When I get off my Ian Rankin kick I might see about the other Harper volumes.  Do you know how far they went?  I know Elaine Cunningham had book 13, another Elf-something.

Can't read books.  Damned hooves can't turn pages, just rip them.  Besides, they get all wet here in the woodland ponds.  The grass is good on the bottom.

Well, you see, mine Eulenspiegelishe freund, M. L'Orignaux wasn't around when God was handing out digits.  All he has is his rack, which falls off every year, and his hooves, which are not built for turning pages.  If it wasn't for all the chemicals in the paper, he would probably eat books up.
