Nice work, mate. Very elegant suburbs. I'd agree that the headers are rather too large but the style of them is very attractive.

Great job, the valley is becoming prosperity again, besides that, the suburban style housing are beautiful in looking.

Also, the antenna looks nice with the forest..........

Anyway, great update and city pictures, I can't wait to see more.

Woah, man! New commercial! Crazy terraced park! Now some of you might be wondering "How'd he do that?".... 3.gif

    newcomm4.jpg

The land was already sloped when I got there, all I needed to do was make the terraces. Quite simply, I picked a piece of land at the right height and plopped a road down. Just one. Then keep hobbling along like that, one at a time. Of course, you'll end up with a patchwork of one blops of road all over, but that gets cleaned up later. 3.gif This is just to level it out.

    newcomm3.jpg

Keep blopping. You can use the roads to help form the shape of your terraces too. A lot easier, I find, than using the quick level brush in god mode.

    newcomm2.jpg

Once it's how you like, remove the blops of roads, add some walls in and voila! Prime real estate for commercial development and parkland!

Hope you liked the mini-tutorial/update! 9.gif

Fantastic work, as usual! Are you planning to build a city in the valley, would be cool to see a vancouver-like city in the region ;-)

i think you must secretly be an incan or somthing cuz they are the only people ive seen do terraces like that!

but i definetely think you should plop in some goober stores because the actual buildings are kind of vanilla. I do see a few tho, like the rls shopping center.

overall its still amazing. and you definetely are part incan!

Nice, the terraced park just look cool in the commercial district. So.....have you thought about using it in the residential district?? I guess it can also make a good view there.

Well..................where did you download the terrace, I'm quite keen on that......

Anyway, nice work, I'm getting more and more interested in this CJ, keep up!!

Well, quick level brush is good for areas that are wide. The roads are good for smaller parts of the operation and for more accurate shapes and finishing touches as well. Anyways, excellent job with the slopes. Nice area for a pick nick.

Iiiit's update time! *wheeze*.. sorry guys, had a busy week. Hopefully this update should make up for it!

    newcomm5.jpg

Commercial area has expanded down near where the new hotel construction is. That has been delayed still, because of the fire, but it's slowly getting back on track. Just as a note, this is a continuation of where the commercial in the previous update left off.

    newcomm6.jpg

Wal-Mart! BMO! McDonalds! Blockbuster! Happening little town indeed. 3.gif

    newcomm7.jpg

The intersection has been re-done here, to allow smoother access off the highway, and into the commercial areas. Another exit will be added, once the hotel is completed.

    newcomm8.jpg

You can see how the exits are done here. First is for Capilano Avenue and the second is for Forrster Drive.

    newres1.jpg

    More residential. Yay. Badingbodonk.

    justforheck2.jpg

And.. well... just for the heck of it, here's a shot of the H7, down by the river. Yipee doo.

    That's all for now, folks!
