Where do you normally buy your games?

I buy most of my games from Game, plenty of choice and the prices are reasonable. On the issue of Woolworth's, there are loads of them around here (England), though I have never bought a game from them.

Gamestop! They have a good selection of PC games and usually have the newest. I also buy some of my DS games there because they have a great selection of new and used games. Used games are especially good for DS games because I think new games are a tad bit overpriced.

Sometimes I preorder new games (such as Seasons) off of Amazon. Even with TS2 Seasons that was a brand new EP I got some sort of a lower price 4.gif

Wow, thats a tough one. Usually Wal-mart, EB Games, and sometimes Game Stop. I got my Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition from EB Games.

I have previously bought at Best Buy, Target, even WalMart, but most often at EB Games or GameStop. The bigger stores (excepting Best Buy) have bigger fish to fry than computer games and thus only usually carry the big brand name games (I got SC4 at Target), but EB Games and GameStop have such a focus on consoles nowadays that they shove the PC stuff to the back - in one local case, the PC rack is in front of the door to the stockroom, so you end up getting interrupted by the store employees while looking at it. Best Buy is the best for window-shopping, but their prices tend to be a little higher (in my impression). Usually I pick out a game there, then go over to EB or Gamestop to see if they have it, and if they don't (which has been rare) I go back to Best Buy. (SC4 was a fluke; I had the earlier SC's and a Target gift card for my birthday, so I went there to see what I could use it on and saw SC4Deluxe on the shelf...)

I bought my computer and SC4RH at Best Buy. I got a great deal on the computer, one that even Walmart couldn't beat.

One caveat, however: Best Buy loads up your new machine with all kinds of cookies and adware. I figured this out pretty quick and cut off their little spies. I also renamed the main file directory to remove their name. I'll bet other stores do this too, it's too sinister to be limited to Best Buy alone.

SC4RH cost me just $20, I used the gift card they gave me for the comp.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

Ooh... old thread I didn't post in.

I don't have a preference, really... I've bought games at Best Buy, EB Games, Gamestop, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and Target.

As for Rush Hour, Simtropolis ran a contest before its release and I was one of the winners. 9.gif

I love Belgium. Everything about it is great, untill i realised they barely sell games in english and never books in english. I have noticed something i find a bit rascist. In countries like holland they sell ZERO games or books in english. Most other countries have the decency to have a few but holland have zero. Maybe they have a few in amsterdam. Ok, to the question. I buy my games of amazon.co.uk Amazing site, the cheapest games you will find in Europe.
