Zipme17: I liked those too, they are the stand outs of the city.

Filasimo: Yes, I have been a bit quiet in terms of city journals lately.

GreekMan: The downtown will be featured in the next update, so look forward to that!

    Voulpiotis: Thanks.

jacqulina: I really like the beaches too, I didnt like the Maxis default one. It seems like this city has grown overnight because I only started building a week or 2 ago.

    DOWNTOWN UPDATE

This update will be showcasing the Downtown area.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

This is the Park Inn which is quite expensive at the moment due to the price of bananas and the location it is in of course. It is situated right in the middle of the Entertainment Precinct of Downtown.

    Hotel.jpg

This snapshot is right in the heart of the Entertainment Precinct. Lots of world renowned shows and concerts are held at the FinchArena (the circle building). There are 2 cinemas there, the Odeon and the Century Cinema. Lots of the youth gang around these parts at night, therefore it is a no-go-zone for tourists at night time.

    Entertainment.jpg

This is the Financial Precinct. The Theatre District is contained within Financial. All of the artsy-fartsy and business orientated sims hang around here all day long, therefore this is also a no-go-zone, not for tourists but for the youth. I don't know why the youth would want to go to Financial, unless they wanted to rob a bank??? Financial also has the tallest buildings in downtown, many are homes for banks and such.

    Financial.jpg

This is th place where youth, business and artsy-fartsy sims can mingle alike. It is called the Lights District which is a part of the Entertainment Precinct. There are lights everywhere you look here and lots of international guests because they will feel right at home.

Thanks for visiting my CJ, Finchaven. Comments are welcome.

hm... I'd suggest a rework on the airports aprons&taxiways... looks kinda wrong.

apart from that it's a nice work here you've presented.

This is just a picture of the region so you get an idea of where the city is located.
