I am wondering if there are any elevated rail stations with a capacity of 10-12000. My downtown is very dense, and I like the appearance of elevated rails, because they maintain a transit presence, so therefore I would like to expand the capacity of the line, before putting it underground.

Thanks for the reply, but the link in the first post of the thread is dead.  It gives a “Page Cannot be Found” 404 Error.  Unless there is another link I missed, the file can’t be found anywhere.  The last three posters in the thread are also having this problem.

There's lots of cities and towns to try out with Wren Weburg's "maxisland" at www.sc4ever.com.   However, this is a full region with a lot of development, so it's a big file (71+ Mb).

Now, for my questions:

1.  It's probably hidden in plain sight, but I can't find a download link for xiziz's SimWings Airport Pack.  I did find the BAT forum thread for it, but no link or search ("simwings") success.

2.  I saw somewhere a tutorial for making curvy roads and it used structural retaining walls alongside at various points--not part of the roadway, but added later for effect.  Sound familiar to anyone?

Railyard textures, I'm not sure on this one. If they are BSC they may be in the Texture Mega pack, again on SC4D LEX. Or they could be NorthCountryDude's, and there may be an updated version on the STEX somewhere.

All right - so I'm new to the forums, new to the Sim City 4 online community (took me long enough, eh?) and I've been trawling the STEX for things to create a Nineteenth-Century major industrial (and commercial) city - and I notice there's not really a lot of content available. What ever happened to the enormous textile mills, canneries, warehouses, meat-packing plants and huge brick-and-mortar monstrosities that still dot the rustbelt? I just can't seem to find much satisfactory material for these towns, and I've been obsessed with creating them. I've downloaded tons of Don Miguel BAT things (beautiful, gorgeous, superlative.) but now I need something more. Substinance, I suppose, for the city. (Its name is Gibsonburg.... I'll leave it at that.) So is there anyone that can point me in the right direction that will take me to some downloads or something like that that can help me. I don't want a lot of dependencies... but who does?

Be sure to check over at the www.sc4devotion.com LEX as I think some of the older migrated works include good oldtime industry by gascooker and jestarr, among others.

and @jfm-design, i think you can just change the capacity value of each station you are having, i do the same thing.. you can play around with sc4tools..

Decrepid Telephone: Try doing a search on anything by Gascooker or Deadwoods, they are wonderfully creative authors that have a large selection of brick clad, sooty, industrial style buildinds to choose from.

Just repeating an old request...

There is supposed to be a B-1B Bomber on the STEX, but I can't turn up hide nor hair of it. Anyone else know about this? Also, some time ago, I d/l'd prop files of 4 different F-14's that I wanted to point a couple fellow users towards, but they seem to have vanished into the ether as well. Little help in exchange for eternal gratitude anyone?

@ gnargenox - the Stealth Bomber on that site was the F-117.

@ Jennyl - that first one looks like a Mrbisonm building. The NEXIS logo gives it away. I haven't seen any releases from him in ages, but it may be worth sending him a PM.

jennyl, i think the second building is equinox's.. you can try to search for "equinox" in stex, lots of great tower, residentials and commercials buildings are there..

You're right, it is a great site!  Hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

Try using a different, more unique key word search, like "seasonal," instead.  I found many downloads available.  Do the same for "farm" and there's several pages of things you can try.  Of course, this is all available from the STEX (ST-Exchange), linked at the top of this page.

I have a few questions, I'll just throw all at once.

1. I saw Red Brick Roads used in the Carpathia City Journal...Where can I find them?

2. I have a request: is there any way someone can mod the God mode Tree button to Place ONLY palm trees?

3. I'm currently running a U.S. version of Deluxe. I want to know if there is a way I can get European sounds for the emergency vehicles in game mode as well as U.D.I. mode. (e.g. ambulance, police, etc.)

ps: And it's best to buy SC4 Deluxe as this is SC4 + Sc4 RH to get the most out of the game.
