Posted this a while back but the advice I got didn't work so I'll try again

I have a mod that changes my monorail to look like elevated highway and I can't find the file to get rid of it

Saw your post before, and, no, it isn't APTX's (unless an early version). I know I've seen this, but I can't find it in my plugins anywhere. If no one recognizes it, maybe try the 'half-in-half-out' tactic with your plugins until it's gone. Just a thought...

I can't find "CPT_No3_TerrainTextures.dat", and "CPT_No4_TerrainTextures.dat". I don't know the name of the pack. The maker of the mod that required these files did not supply where to find it.

How do I connect roads to a single side of an Avenues without it automatically crossing to the other side of the Avenue? I Lost my hard drive and used to be able to accomplish this but now....

Don't know if it will fix the issue you're having, but did you update the game after installing Deluxe? There is an update on the official site.

I need help find a the World Trade Center file that has night lighting. I have downloaded one that doesn't have lighting. Here is a picture of what I am looking for:

The one I have just doesn't light up, making it look a bit odd in my city. (if at all possible, I would like it to be without the whole complex, just like in the picture.)

Can anyone also tell me how to turn region images so I can get a birds eye view instead of the maxis view. I'm not sure how to say this. To turn an image from what you see in the region to a flat map like.

Searech the STEX for hole diggers, the lifters are included in that set.

Olympian, You need Photoshop or a similar picture editing program. In Photoshop, select all (ctrl + a) and then use the edit -> transform -> skew command to change the perspective to Your likings.

Al_4ev, not the best pic in the world.... but I think this looks like the standard Maxis graveyard fence. With Lot Editor, You can take the Maxis small park and add the fences. If You have not made any lots with the Lot Editor, then this should be a very good first thing to try to make. For a beginner, it is less than an hour's work.

Hello all! I've been away for quite sometime now. I started my MBA a couple years ago and as a result decided to basically walk away from this game because I can literally waste away playing it. Well I finished up my MBA, recently moved and LOST my copy of SC4 however, not all is lost, I ordered SC4 deluxe this past week from amazon and it should be here middle of next week.

I guess the crux of my question is, what have I missed that I must have over the last two years? I'm a big fan of trying to build my cities in a realistic manner and I prefer realistic buildings. I still have all my plugins, but was wondering if there are now plug in packs available for download? If so what commercial, industrial, residential packs do you guys recommend? Also has there been many changes to the transportation packages? Did they ever get the bugs fixed with some of the airport stuff? I remember a couple of the airport packs once you built the airport would cause the game to crash to desktop and when I quit playing they were trying to get that stuff fixed.

Thats a lot of questions i know so if anyone wants more specifics from me, please just ask can't wait to start playing again!

1) how you get the seaports to look the way they do, is it part of the canal stuff?

2) does any have a BAT of any of the towers of Abu Dhabi?

3) how do i install a map onto the game?
