First of all, when you download something from here or most of other sites, download them into a folder that you can create anywhere and find easily. Then most of the stuff is either in winzip or rar format, so you have to unzip them first. The lots from the sim city exchange main page( http://simcity.ea.com/exchange/lots/index.php ) does not allow you to select the download destination. It says it is downloaded into the plug-in folder, but the downloads are not there.

When trying to download, I get this box:

After selecting next it begins the download. I've tried to select the destination but have not been able to do so. I have also tried to replace the file, but they still do not appear. Suggestions?

I have never had the pleasure of dealing with that site due to cd key problems, but my advice is to avoid it, lol! From what I have heard, most of the content is not very good except some of the maxis stuff and updates. I seriously doubt this, but maybe it went into the plugins folder in C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Plugins ? worth a shot. Anyway, I wish there was more I could do, and hope you get this straightened out.

jfrutchey,  If you are with AOL (maybe others too), you might have a problem to download something from there. Try another browser like IE or Firefox, both work on this site. Besides this, you should address that problem to their forum.

That is Greywood Lofts by Dusktrooper! There are multiple colors in that download so it's not just the red one! Also, search "loft" or "Dusktrooper" on the STEX and you can find more of his buildings like this.

Looking for CSX TImber lots. I downloaded the CSX Hunter Leuschar Mansion and it requires 2 csx timber lots to trigger the reard. I checked ST, SD and SP sites and can't seem to find the timber lots. Thanks

wwetom1: If memory serves, you should find instructions for the curved road sidewalk in Dsrwhat316's "The Republic of Bevelle" CJ. As for the single lots search for Marrast Seawalls or something (sorry can't remember the name), you can find the seawalls on the STEX.

Skytearer: normally you have the curve roads in the NAM!!! in the game, go in transport, road and select the road bridge (no the bridges) and use the touch TAb on your keyboard and and the curve roads are at the end!!!!!

hello,

its been a year since i last played SC4. i had a huge load of plugins (2,8gb). for some reason now that i wanted to play again these funny signs show up. the mouseover says that those placeholder signs are supposed to be "Evergreen, potted" "Patioplant, Potted" and so on. i just wish to either remove the mod or get it working again. but i cant remember its name   maybe its a residential building replacer or a eye candy flower mod...i dunno.

another problem is that my 3000 low wealth sims give me a ridiculous amount of 30.000$

i searched all day for the mod names but cant find anything.

I think for the first problem is that you should delete all of your plugins. I know that sounds crazy but it might work. Or you could just delete a majority of them and that might help. That what i did i mine works fine. But for the second problem i don't know. Sorry

I was wondering if there was any plugin to reduce road pollution? I'm getting tired of it. I do have NAM so there are 5x the number of cars going down the road. I have built so many cities with huge mass transit systems that I now want to build some huge highway networks which I don't usually need.

Does anyone have some nice L.A./southwestern type houses? I found some made by equinox and kd5ran that suits the region, but I swore that I saw a package of very nice ones a little while back? I also tried these http://members3.jcom.home.ne.jp/somy000/p7.htm which would look great in old areas, but for some reason they won't show up in the game or in Lot Editor.

I cannot answer them all, but maybe I'll help you to find an answer or encourage someone else to find the answer.

sleighgp, have a look here.   This is a lot that reduces bad air significiently, also do a search for Peg's artificial tree on the STEX.

fixel, I wish I could understand what you mean by a tool to generate about lots?

allez l'om, if you mean the roundabout in the toppicture (airport), it is in the NAM

joshuaandjustin, *how to make a thred?* .....You mean how to start a thread? 

Click on *Forums* on top of the site, then choose the Category where you want to open a new thread and look at the blue toolbar on top where it says « New Topic» and voila fill in what needs to be filled and enter, voila a new thread.
