Geotech Centre is open just in time for the regular season, and the Bombers' first game of the season is sold out! Now granted, it's a 8800 seat arena, but in a town of only 30,000, that's close to a third of the population attending this event! What residents didn't get tickets are listening on ABC Blue Coast Radio. Anticipation is running high, very high, in the town.

Go Bombers go!!! 39.gif

Terribly sorry I didn't get my roster in. Can I use last year's or do I have to make up a new one? (I would rather use last year's...)

The Crests are all on the airplane and the Whirlwinds are already at the hotel. Crests fans have bought 95% of Ilitj's tickets and Duchati is selling out fast as well. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Whirlwinds fans are lined up outside Josef Bay, trying to keep any Pirates fans from buying a ticket. They are succeeding too!

UPDATE: Home team just won 4 straight test games. It's all good.

Good afternoon folks, thanks for tuning in. 6 games in the STHL to report, but first a press release from the league office

The SensMan Parity Commission has made the following changes:
REMOVED 135 points from Binsur City
NOTED a 5 point deficiency in Marceau
    REMOVED 5 points from Rocheffer
    REMOVED 10 points from Rorysville
REMOVED 65 points from San Francisco
NOTED a 20 point deficiency in Josef Bay
    REMOVED 150 points from Letchworth
    REMOVED 135 points from Duchati
    REMOVED 135 points from London
Keep in mind that the points taken off were distributed evenly and were very fair. These points were all over-and-above the 1500 point limit, it's not as if I just didn't like the rosters. You can check for yourself if you'd like. I didn't change the under-limit rosters. If you want those missing points, PM me with the change.

And now for some league action. First we have the upstart Sephora Tridents trying to become the second team from the metro area to win in as many days. They were visiting the 1-1 Pirates. Led by J. Brisko's 4 points, the Pirates managed another third period comeback and triumphed 4-3.

    Period 1

    5:02 STR GOAL! #12 M. Peltier (1)   (#14 N. Sjostrom,  #5  R. Dubowik)

Woohoo! I must say I am surprised! I hope this continued because I am very happy! There is a boost in salary for everybody on my teams! 3-day parade in order! Until we lose a game...which can't happen! Go Crests and go Whirlwinds! I'm glad I made those rosters the way I did...lol. 9.gif9.gif9.gif

Well, the Sea Dogs got off to a rocky start, but bounced back tonight. I only hope that the Bombers will be able to pull off a similar move.

Looks great, and I'm glad to see the Sephora Stingers off on the right foot. The Tridents didn't fare so well, though they are a young team and there's lots of time ahead. It was an exciting game and Brisko's hat trick was something to behold, so no hard feelings toward the Pirates.

Did his team get in? If not, can he get the slot of an inactive manager? If not that, then one of us with 2 teams can give a team up. I hate to see someone who wants to participate not get in while some of us (myself included) have 2 teams.

How about putting the divisions and teams in the first post in this thread just so we have everything in one place? And/or the schedule zip?

Again, nice work SensMan. Really looks nice.

Good morning sportsfans, this SportsCast on your Tuesday. Let's begin with a few notes from league head office.

--Mdz does have a team (Binsur City). I made up a roster for them at first, then edited it to suit his PMed custom team.
--The first post will have a fun little zip file, including the schedule spreadsheet and game program I'm using in case someone wants to play around with it.

And now, let's see some highlights. First on the schedule is the Bombers taking on their natural rivals, the Flight (didn't notice they were in the same division before, did you?) In the end, the Flight were just too fast for the Bombers, and they picked up a 3-2 victory.
