I have only been to toronto, ottawa, montreal, and quebec city, so i cant speak for the western cities. BTW i live in TO, and i do think its the best. Ottawa is just boring, montreal is impossible to drive through (got stuck in 2 hour traffic at midnight on a satrday at vieux port, the last time i went. Also whats with all the one way streets?)Quebec City comes in second with the interesting architechture, cute shops, etc. (and surprisingly good radio stations. So, I'll say this:

Toronto

Quebec City

Montreal

Niagara Falls

Once again, cant say for the western cities.

My favourite large cities:

1. Vancouver (physical beauty, laid-back lifestyle, nightlife, lots to do, outdoor recreation nearby)

2. Montreal (culture, nightlife, diversity, lots to do)

3. Quebec City

4. Ottawa

5. Edmonton

My favourite small-medium cities:

1. Kamloops (climate, desert landscape, outdoor recreation nearby, lots to do)

2. Victoria (physical beauty, climate, outdoor recreation nearby)

3. Trois-Rivieres

4. Kelowna

5. London

Metro Vancouver for the win! Lived here most of my life and I'm still loving it. There is so many things to do. Just avoid the Trans Canada during Rush Hour, but that's just common sense ;D

Flying into Vancouver at night is a phenomenal experience, then taking a cruise liner out the next morning is even better. Vancouver by a long shot, although I've never been to Toronto, only seen pictures. Maybe my vote will eventually change.

So far the only provinces I've been to are Ontario (live there) and Quebec (family there), so my top 5 would be

1) Toronto (Great architecture, friendly people, multicultural, excellent food and a great rail system which i use every day to get to school >.<)

2) Quebec City (amazing european style architecture, interesting shops and boutiques, great physical geography along the St. Lawrence river)

3) Montreal (The nightlife is CRAZY....but the road systems were poorly marked and i kept gettin lost while driving around town)

4) Niagara Falls

5) St. Catharines (rich history, and a very "homey" feel)

I choose my own Hometown. Hamilton. Once you put aside the industrious areas , its actually a really nice neighborhood to live in and is also very beautiful seen from the escarpment. Also Hamilton is the waterfall capitol of the world!

Go Hamilton! =D

Never been to canada15.gif but its definately one of the places i want to go4.gif it seems so peaceful and majestic, kind of like a whole other world from here in the US. but id have to say one of the most intriguing cities would have to be toronto4.gif

Of course its always funny how us americans say that if the government decides to turn dictatorship or reinstates the draft that every one is going to move to cnanda, yet no one ever does. 3.gif
