Dual networking- Motorways (Highways) and roads/avenues

I am aware that several members are currently working on two-level highway viaducts, and rail-under-highway bridges, but I am thinking of something different. Would it be feasible to build standard elevated highway above avenues or roads? I am thinking of something along the lines of the M4 Chiswick flyover, for you Brits.

Well, as far as I know, in theory, it should be possible, since the dual-decker highways are possible.  It had been said for quite awhile that it wasn't possible to double-deck two car-based networks, but obviously fukuda got around that one with his dual-decker Highways.  

Having done dual and quadruple decker pieces myself for the RHW and knowing how they function, I really wouldn't see a problem.

This would be a natural step in the evolution of the NAM. The NAM is extensive but new ideas sidetrack full completion of old ones.

Like the Dual El-Rail but nothing else. And all dual networks are extremely limited at the moment, some feasible to make puzzle pieces need to be added (like turns, junctions, merges, diagonals, etc.)
