Thanx, but that's not the Citigroup that I'm looking for. I'm looking for the Citigroup in New York City, as pictured in my previous post. Thanx anyways.

Does anyone else know where I can find these buildings?

Hey Madrazos, I made a Soriana very similar to the picture above /\/\

Search on the STEX for Soriana or MarcosMX.

Eres Mexicano cierto? Planeo hacer mas edificios de Mexico pronto.

I'd love an invisible beach lot or 20.

Whoops, hit post too soon.

Anyways, since the early days of Teirusu's Beach Mod (White Sand Beaches, Infinite Beach, etc..), we had thought this would enable and indeed beckon in an era of beaches with no 'I luv a square of sand' under-texture.

With the beach mod, still on the STEX 3 years later, I'm wondering if anyone has the time, inclination, or skill to make even a rudimentary 'invisible beach' lot.

I would have to guess this has been tried, and perhaps the underlying sand texture must remain. If not though, this would greatly add to the realism and beauty of hand-sculpted beaches. For inspiration see Goldiva's Tropical Trees and props.

Small 1x1 invisibles, or 1x4 extending into the water could hold a variety of props, from bonfires to beach chairs. So do it, someone, before I have to learn how to make lots!

Thanks to Simtropolis and members for 3 years of on and off enjoyment. You make SC4 what it is!

-The recently reincarnated,

Smacksim

Yes, that was i! Thanx so much. Too bad the person didn't give the building its actual name, Citigroup Center. I would've found it immediately.

Now for the United Nations and Time Warner Center.

Hello all; I have a request that is truly unique.

I love wind power in my cities, and well, I was looking at News.com the other day and something really caught my eye. Follow the link below and you'll see a new type of wind generator. This looks like something that mayors in the Simtropolis community would really like. Check it out!

Hey all, I have a couple of requests.

First, I'd like to see the Frost Bank Tower, located in Austin, TX:

Also, I'd like to see the Pennybacker Bridge, also in Austin:

And last, the Texas State History Museum, again in Austin. (Note: it doesn't have to be called the texas state history museum in SC4, for obvious reasons)

More on Aerial Tramway!

There is a good precedent for aerial tramways in cities as actual mass transit.  I suspect they could be done by modifying rails to look like suspended cables to mimic the power lines (where they produce a tower every few tiles to "support the cable").

While CSX has produced an "eye candy" cable car, it has no transit function.  I've seen at least 3 total requests for a cable car or aerial tramway (I do not count funiculars, as that is an entirely different concept, really). My proposal would be based on the Roosevelt Island Aerial Tramway found in none other than New York City, which runs from Manhattan to Roosevelt Island. It is unique in that it is the only aerial tramway used for mass transit here in America. And it would most certainly make a nice addition to the various mass transit options to any city.

This type of aerial tramway would have to be extendable over water and other transit tiles such as road or rail.  Additionally, it need not be made for use on extreme gradients of terrain as a ski lift, though this would be a great plus.

Some pictures are included here:

Hello. This will be an unusual request and I really hope that somebody will be interested into it.

I am going to make very different CJ from those you see in Simtropolis.

Setting will be post-apocalypse and you can think what I need 2.gif

CJ will be inspired by RPG "Father" Fallout 1&2.

I havent seen any demolished or something like that bats so I need someone to make them for me. I need half destructed buildings, crushed roads, entrace to a "vault" and much more.

Here you can see some screenshots how bats should like

http://screens.fifengine.de/pre-alpha_002_t.jpg

http://screens.fifengine.de/prototype1_015_t.jpg

http://screens.fifengine.de/prototype1_014_t.jpg

If anybody is interested, PM me and I can give more meterial and such.

Thanks 1.gif

Are automata considered BATs or MODs? I would like a BAT of streets, underwater sections, PEG pond lots and such that, as appropriate, will have automata replicate the Bellingham Ski-to-Sea events (http://www.bellingham.com/skitosea/) for a 'Ski-to-Sea' CJ I'm planning.

The legs of the race:

1) Cross Country Skiing (open terrain)

2) Downhill Skiing (open terrain)

3) Running (road tiles)

4) Biking (road tiles)

5) Canoeing (PEG stream & pond tiles)

6) Mountain Biking (Parks, beach, road tiles... reuse 'biking?)

7) Sea Kayak (under ocean water, activity on top of water)

Such lots, of course, could be used for any number of CJs and such that have races, or simply for general sports activites. Perhaps 'Parade' automata would be desireable also?

Of course, I'm interested in tools made to work as generic as possible. The Boston Marathon CJ would want runners, of course. In 2010, there are the Vancouver Winter Olympics (http://www.vancouver2010.com/en) and the summer olympics to be held 2008 in Beijing.

I apologize if 'generic sports automata' fall under 'mods' and not 'lots', as I think of 'lots that spawn automata' as what will fill the bill. Thank you for your time.

I would like to see Seattle's Rainier Tower. A previous project for this died in 2004.

rainier_tower.jpg

Details are as follows 157 meters tall, built in 1977. Architect is Minoru Yamasaki and Associates (designed NY World Trade 1,2,4,5,and 6). The footprint is 25% of the building width at it's top, due to the unique pedestal that the building rests on. 31 functional floors in a 40-42 "story" building.

I know that there is an official BAT Request Thread, but this just needs seperate attention!

Dubai is being built and there are some superior buildings waiting for construction. But why only building it in the real world, while we can also build them in Simcity 4!

There are some fantastic BAT Creators who can build so realistic, so here's the request...:

LINK -> This website has photo's and information about almost every building that is going to be build in Dubai, so follow the link please, and get ready to build some skyscrapers!

It would be awesome, because Simcity could use some new Modern Residential and Commercial buildings. R$$$ Residentials and more...

So BAT Creators, please get started so everybody can modernise his city!

Thank You! 2.gif

Hmmm, ok, so i cant figure out the whole iage posting, or, more importantly, what im doing wrong, but my request is pretty simple:

tonkso's latest highway overpass, on right hand side, grey metal holding it up instead of black, and green painted signs instead of blue.

thats all, thanks,
