I would really appreciate it if someone could get a grass texture like thise used on baseball fields

It is good that somebody's finally at least *considering* a cricket stadium.

A suggestion though:

You're going to need more detail in the field markings (see the attachment to get a rough idea (Ignore the soccer goals and markings, I didn't even know they used the field for soccer as well).

Yeah... I think cricket is an aspect of the game that is unaccounted for. We have American Football starting to be introduced into the game and Cricket is MUCH bigger on an international scale. it'll be a good option to have open. I've seen your models and i don't think you're in over your head in terms of ability. the problem w/ projects like this are that they get HUGE and can slow your computer down if you don't have a powerful machine, and the detailing can be tedious so if you don't have patience, it can be rough. But in terms of raw ability, you're absolutely capable. good luck i can't wait to see what you do.

Good luck with this stadium project. I tried to do a cricket stadium once, but found it too difficult and annoying, so have given up on it. Good luck with yours. As for a texture, I'm not sure what you mean by a baseball one, but I'ev attached the one I use for my football pitches. When a UVW map is applied to make it repeat, it looks quite good, although it may not be what you're looking for. It may need darkening or altering as well.

The other thing really missing is a proper horse racing track. I'm amazed nobody's done one as the actual BATting would be minimal. You'd only need fences to define the track, a few props to define the start and finish, perhaps a few central features and a grandstand (which could be made simple).

It'd require a master lotter, though.

If you are looking for cricket player props, check out my local cricket pitch....http://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex and do a user search for callagrafx. There are also cricket blinds, wickets and overlay textures of the pitch. You will need to register if you haven't already (if not, why not ?). Good luck with this.

The first one looks too much like a football stadium, perfectly kept Old Trafford/Emirates style grass. The second one looks better suited for a cricket stadium. Wonderful work so far though, A must for all my cities once complete.
