avenue troubles

Alright, I have the NAM installed first of all and i think that is the source of my woes. When i build avenues, they never carry traffic and show up on the congestion graphs as solid red. They've turned into mere decoration. Any thoughts on this problem? thanks!

odd ???...only thing i can think of off-hand...do you have any sort of subways lines  below the avenues, where the red congestion is actaully them showing through the avenues and not actually the congestion of the avenue itself, 

or some kinda mod conflict of some sort ?

maybe provide a couple of screen shots showing the pathifinding and in both the traffic view and road traffic views also, see if we can figure this out, veru odd

I think it is a mod conflict, it has to be. Everything worked before i started tossing in mods. I am thinking very seriously about buying the stex cd's

The same thing just happened in my new city. A query shows no traffic at all, but sections of the avenue are glowing red. There are no subways -- only bus stops.

I have the NAM but no other traffic mods are installed.

Actually this happened once before when I included an avenue in a brand new city, but it doesn't happen when the avenue is added to a somewhat more mature city. If it were a mod conflict, wouldn't all avenues be affected at all times?

I took a snapshot before destroying the city but don' know how to post it in a forum.

@DanWalker8;This use to be a very common problem when RH/Deluxe was released. Why? Because players were still using TrafficModds designed for the orignal version of the game, & the NAM is only designed for RH/Deluxe so it can't be that. The technical reasons behind why avenues might be red but shows no traffic is a TrafficModd Plugin issue, chances of it being something else is very very low.

@Newsmouse I would suggest taking a closer look at those more mature cities where you have avenues. Might be a case of them not being used at all, & hence not showing any red. But would have to see a picture really.

perhaps you should empty out your plugin folder and just leave the NAM and try it out to see if it has something to do with another plugin??

This problem has now got me. Oneway roads do the same thing... Streets and roads are only thing that work now. Red Avenues and oneways with no traffic yay! damnit!

This sounds like a plugin conflict. Check your plugins folder for the Transit Supermod or Transit Bugfix. Also make sure you don't have any conflicting versions of the NAM.
