This update was exceptionally well done. It looks very authentic and detailed. Heck - that last pic looks like a night shot postcard FOR REAL!

Now this is how Simcity is supposed to be played. I like the eclectism in the Cherry Street district - it looks like something organic and alive, rather than corporate and bland like many urban areas (Charlotte included) - especially with all of those building styles represented.

I can't believe I missed out on that mall update - probably one of the best mall districts on ST.

Your realism's always setting precedents and raising the standard of what can be done in SC4

Thank you to everyone who has already responded to my last update!  I will give personal replies to each of you in my next actual "update", but now I would like to show some comparison photos of my previous two cities to show what direction I am steering Aqua Vista...

First is Aquaville, which I believe ran from Feb '06 to May '06...

Next was Port evergreen which ran from June '06 to September '06...

and finally here is what Aqua Vista looks like currently, so hopefully you can see what it will look like in the future when more of the surroundings develop...

But where did you get the transit-enabled parking lots in your shopping centers (i.e. the one on the first page)? I tried searching on STEX, but I didn't see anything close.

Nice downtown! I like your transportation system like Giligone said... The only suggestion that I have is to build more medium density around the downtown core, if it is residential or commercial it doesn't matter it just looks a little drastic.

Giligone - Thanks!  Yes, that is the default lighting for that stadium, I agree though I think it looks nice.

Here are the pics, I made changes to downtown - one of the surface parking lots was removed and a new residential tower and a smaller office building were built in its place...

Giligone - Hey, thanks that's what I was going for!  I got that building here off the STEX, it was made by cataclaw.  You should be able to find it if you search under that name, because I don't remember the name of the building.
