*10 min later starts dancing with Alex to the music of daft punk  .... dances right out the front door, and some how catches up to brad, just in time to push him away and into a trash can just as hell on a motorized scooter is about to catch him...*

Btw, looks like the clinic got a new patient.... lol

quote>

Now there are some things that you boys need to understand about this clinic, In addition to what I have already told you..... The most important thing to remember is this:

Subsection 3.4 clause 2.7 of the Moose Factory Clinic Regulations Ordinace ... as shall be prescribed from time to time (by me - mor hor hor) blah, blah, blah  ectcetra ... ectcetra ... clearly states that:

No person shall (and I mean no one - that includes you Brad...) once they have been admitted, shall be permitted to discharge themselves without the properly authorised and expressly given permission of the Senior Nursing Staff - that is Sister E. Nema - (no job too big or too dirty... ectectra, ectectra... ).

(If that Dr R. Igor Mortis thinks he is running this show then he has another thing coming - I've got the tubes and I'm not afraid to use them - staff or patient.)

In plainspeak - You may run, but you can't hide.  All clear lads? - marvellous.  Just needed to clear that up.

Shall we then....gentlemen?

The chase into the back alley continues...

*Sister E. Nema revs the throttle on her mobility scooter.....eyes flash, nostrils flare..."

Brad's feet are still sticking out of the dumpster... Sister E. Nema expertly makes a lasoo from a bangage...

(Nurses always have all sorts of stuff in their pockets...)

... and hog ties Brad - she yanks him out of the dumster and secures him in the shopping basket on the front of the scooter with brown elastoplast tape...

She sings to her self - "round and round the brown tape goes - will Brad survive - no_body knows.... "

Thats one down one to go  - yeee hah!

Nousername then in a blind panic state ducks into an open garage doorway which leads to the back room area of a toy store - ......   Wait for it ....   Drum roll please ....  Brad have you guessed already? ..... Yep sorry buddy .....

RUBBER CHICKENS R US!

Sister E. Nema guns the engine on the mobility scooter and sets off in hot pursuit.  Through the back room and on into the public area of the store.  Past the two for the price of one display ... nousername tries the old "knock over the display" routine to block the way but S.E.N,  throws the scooter into 4WD and then she, the scooter and Brad become airborne as the chase continues.  Brad bounces out of the basket and crashes head first into the - Santa Rubber Chicken display (left over from Christmas 75% off).  As the chase continues S.E.N reaches out an arm and expertly lobs Brad back into the basket...  Nousername then manages to find his way to the front door of  Rubber Chickens R Us   and runs out on to the street.

Yep you guessed it - Huron St, right back opposite the Moose Factory Bar and Grill.  By this time S.E.N has radioed ahead for assistance and Sisters Malexa Crost and Malena Stains are ready with the tranqulizer shots to subdue the fleeing nousername.

A short time later Brad, Nousername and for that matter Alex, whose cold has got a lot worse after all that flapping about in the hospital gown, are all tucked back in their beds down in the back of the factory, behind the trusty rusty old screens.

(Triple starched sheets - corners mitred at EXACTLY 45° ...  )

mqsim:  Sorry it took so long to get back to you buddy, had a bit of a sit-U-ation.  So what's up buddy? Thought you were the only Kiwi around here?  Well it can be a bit lonely down here in the South Pacific,  long way to anywhere, but there are about 4 million of us so you are bound to bump into one sooner or later.  Anyway welcome to the factory and if your feeling lonely I have just the company for you - they can be a bit flighty themselves you know but they are all safe and sound now, (wings safely clipped) so that's what really matters - eh boys?  Back under my tender loving care.  mqsim can I introduce you to Alex - he's the one with the runny nose and the TISSUES ALL OVER THE FLOOR AGAIN,   Brad,  he has a very rare condition called avianlatexhypodermichysteriotoysRusbumblebroxis which makes him prone to sudden flights of fancy (but we sorted that out didn't we mate) and lastly but not at all leastly nousername, he had a nasty fall on some glass and cut his ....  well let's just say he has been the butt of all our jokes ever since.

And so ends another exciting episose in the never ending story of...

The Moose Factory Medical Clinic ...

Tune in next time ... what will happen in the next action packed episode...?

Will Brad and nousername try to escape again .... ? (pity help them if they do..)

Will Alex ever PICK UP THE TISSUES OFF THE FLOOR  .... ?

Will mqsim find true friendship ... ?

*mental note: must try to escape any chance he gets* *Pulls out his laptop, and ipod and while typing furiously on his laptop, he is listening to music... * Btw, my name username may be nousername, but you can call me either: Bryan, Bry or Ryan. And now back to the story.... *sees puns.... great puns, and i'm the butt of them....* "Now i wonder....?" *pulls up blueprints of the moose factory...* (this is the advantage of being good with computers...) *sees Sister E. Nema and hides the blueprints, and pulls up his e-mail and itunes...* "what? i'm bored... besides i don't see you guys doing anything..." *sees his blackberry* "YES! Now i don't have to use the crappy pay phone outside the.... or do i?" *light bulb appears outa nowhere* "Oh nurse, i'm going to use the pay phone outside to make a phone call..." *grabs his stuff and brad and alex and runs to the pay phone to make a phone call, to a friend* 10 min later a misterous white van pulls up to hide the pay phone, then as the van leaves, and as the dust cloud disapates there is nothing there but the reciver swinging in the wind, but by the time Sister E. Nema, knows what happened, it is too late he and the van and everyone in it is already across the border in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.... (which by the way is a 2.5 hr flight, from Denver, a 6hr flight from Fredricton, NB and a 9 hr flight from the uk), as they got to the airport, they said thnx to bry's friend, got on a flight to to a unknown location and dispeared for good...

homeandaway:  Here is your grapefruit, chilled, properly sectioned, with a runcible spoon.

nousername:  You have an infinite coffee credit with us.  Enjoy.

The KK Dragon stumbles over an IV bottle on the floor, and falls agains the slider, setting it to 4.

Bryan:  Thanks, real names are much easier - we already have a Ryan that calls in here so can we stick with Bryan or Bry?

Please watch the 2PR - wait until 2 people post before you reply again.  If you just can't wait that long [like me... ;-) ] just use the edit function and add to your last post.  You can head up the edit by typing in the new day and time, so we know that it is an edit.  Moose tells me that the factory had been locked by the mods in the past due to 2PR infringement. Very naughty naughty - don't get caughty.

Did I hear someone say free coffee? - What's the deal Moose - can I have free coffee here too?

Brad: Can I quote you from page 24?  Yes? Just lovely.... righto ...

Uhmm...my foots asleep...does that count to get into this clinic thingy?! 3.gif

That my lad was a prima facie, prima donna, cast iron, rock solid,  request posted in your own fontwriting to be admitted to the clinic. Plainly admissible in any court of law (Commonwealth ones that is - of which I might remind you,  to which you belong - [shame about the US, they didn't want to stay in our club], God Save the Queen etc... etc...)

In plainspeak - take your medicine - it's good for you.

    Right now to business....

    The Moose Factory Clinic

    Funding - slider on (what did you say Moose?) - 4!!  = §40 / month!!  §40 a month!

    [starts foaming at the mouth]

(clumsy git - who left those IV bottles lying around anyway - MORTIS I am gonna tube yeeeew).

    Clinic capicity - 4/4

    Brad, Alex, Bryan, mqsim

    Staff morale - 6.gif  32.gif

Duty Nurse - Sister E. Nema.

*Sister E. Nema looks at the 3 empty beds with a stern but knowing look.  She walks briskly to the front door of the factory and looks across to the phone booth.  She walks to the phone booth and sees the receiver dangling in the breeze and puts it to her ear.*

*A voice on the other end crackles in her ear ... *

    "Nema is that you?"

    "Yes", she replies.

"This is Mr Smith - the three runners have flown - Did you insert the plug ins?"

    "Yes"

"Right - leave it to me."

    *The phone line goes dead*

*Sister E. Nema calmly re-enters the factory, with a satisfied smile on her face.*

*She returns to the clinic to check on mqsim*

Hey there mq where did the others get to?  Mq, looks at S.E.N and shrugs his sholders.

"One minute they were here and the next they were gone!", he wails.

"Don't worry buddy - we will get them back, [*a thin smile forms*] little do they know, but while they were all sleeping from those tranqulizer shots - I inserted intra-galatic tracker plug-ins - I can now track them from here to anywhere in the galaxy and back. "

*S.E.N walks over to the duke box - still playing the "Leg of Mutton Rag".   She presses a concealed (one L or 2?) button and with a soft pnematic hiss the panels slide back to reveal a sosphisticated state-of-the art computer screen and keyboard.  A bank of LEDs pulse on a suplementary panel.  A few clicks of the mouse later and the tracking screen materilizes on the screen.  Three red blips can clearly be seen heading northwestwards towards Alaska.*

Moose:  Can you take a look at this screen - what do you make of it?

*S.E.N while waiting for Moose to amble over to the screen, flips down another console with six large purple buttons on it.  They are pulsating with gentle plasma generated light.*

    They are marked:

    1.  Activate immediate retrieve to Moose Factory

    2.  Activate remote inoculation of sleeper capsule

    3.  Activate involuntary desire for tap dancing

    4.  Activate immediate urge to pee

    5.  Activate inexplicable need to rush up to people and say "flibergibitobstropolis"

    6.  Activate immediate disintergration of all outer clothing leaving only underwear

*S.E.N then quickly punches in some coodinates to the keyboard and then pushes button one.

*The duke box come high-tech auto-patient-tracking-retriever, hums gently and shortly an aura of light starts to form on the bar stool nearest the duke box.  After a few moments the fuzzy outline of Alex appears, becoming clearer and clearer until he is sitting back on the bar stool.

*S.E.N. watches Alex finish his grapefruit and throw the tissue on the floor..... she is tapping her foot and looking quite stern.

Alex:    If you don't pick up that tissue I'm gonna do it .... I will ....  I will push button 7
[Morhaha - you didn't know I had a button 7 did you?  that is my ultimate secret weapon ....! ]

*somewhere above the North Pacific the boys are a little preoccupied...

[authors note: images courtesy of Google image search with moderate safe search on...this is a family show after all - hope that's OK with you ~Zel~ PM if not]

*Meanwhile back in mission control S.E.N. pauses a moment in meditation...

    ooooooooooooommmmmmmmmm.......

... she centres herself and pushes button FIVE.  Somewhere above the North Pacific heading over the Aluteans, Brad makes a sudden twitch .... and and leaps out of his seat and sees a drop dead gorgeous air hostess....
    air_stewardess_air_hostess_costume_S2599
    and exclaims .........

    "flibergibitobstropolis!"

    "Pardon Sir?" the hostess exclaims.
    "flibergibitobstropolis!"
The air hostess looks slightly non-plussed but maintains an M&M coloured coating (one lick and its gone) of  professionality.
    "Sir?"
    "flibergibitobstropolis!"
    "Sir, I dont understand...."
    "flibergibitobstropolis...   flibergibitobstropolis...  FLIBERGIBITOBSTROPOLIS!"

*The air hostess slowly backs away [to avoid the spittle] and grabs the cabin phone.... all the while Brad continues to repeat  - flibergibitobstropolis...flibergibitobstropolis...flibergibitobstropolis...flibergibitobstropolis...!

    "Captian - we have an R24, I repeat R24...."

*The aircraft makes a sudden steep, max rate right hand turn - coffee cups, plates and cutlery (plastic naturally..) start sliding from passengers trays .... and on to their laps ....
MESS! CHAOS! PANIC! WET CROTCHES! ....  [morhorhor] ....
... the aircraft makes a steep desent and heads towards Anchorage in Alaska......

air hostess cartoons, air hostess cartoon, air hostess picture, air hostess pictures, air hostess image, air hostess images, air hostess illustration, air hostess illustrations

*To be continued... stay tuned for the next exciting episode ... don't you just love it when the story is left with the plane in a screaming dive...?

Late Edit:  Moose can I pre-order a bacon sandwich (a really fancy high end, open one with grilled banana and maple syrup (Canadian of course) - oh and an eggs benidict on the side)  and a pot of coffee for Jacky?

My extraordinary telepathic powers have detected that she will be in for for breakfast...  can we do a full silver service with starched white table cloths, napkins and flowers on the table?
I just hope that she will have time to stop a while and enjoy it ... [she always seems in such a rush, that girl].

    silver.jpg

I'd pay ... really I would, but some git bumped my funding slider ...
    - will Alex's change cover the cost?  [i know eating out is expensive in the UK, but £5 is a ridiculous price for a grapefruit - although a workmate who has just recently flown from the UK to Spain, had to pay £1.60 for a cup of tea and £5.00 for a sandwich on her flight]

nousername:  Everything in the Factory is free.  We use virtual Simoleons.

Craig:  See above. [s.E.N.: Most intriguing.  You could also have activated the Tardis and gone and got them from anywhen.]

homeandaway:  Your five pounds will finance the Muslims for a Democratic Society movement.

nousername: Bars??  I see no bars here, only the polished wooden one before you.  Anything else must a a hallucination caused by the nefarious implant of S.E.N.  The implant removal stall is in the men's room.  Just grunt.

Craig:  By now, Jacky will have received breakfast service à la Russe.  This virtual service is provided with the KK Dragon disguised as a footman/servitor.  Naturally, the virtual bank will cover anything.  Who set the slider to 4?  Sets slider to max.

Moose:  Tell tale tatler ... don't make my job easy do you... but you did readjust my slider back to max, so you are not all bad...

Mqsim:  Well done buddy - I like your style... sneaky but clever ... this could be the beginning of a wonderful working relationship, ...

    - that will teach the others for leaving you behind - maybe I will let you decide which big purple button we should use on Bry - but then is he back already? - methinks not ... I believe he is still in an aircraft with Brad in a steep nose dive, in deep mortal peril, over the North Pacfic, heading for Alaska...  I think perhaps the sudden urge to use the dunny (there's a good Kiwi word for you) was something to do with being faced with a sudden and life threatening situation -  (like the plane being in a nose dive) - does that to people you know.

[if a patient with chest pain asks for a bed pan to do (well you know) it is a well known fact that you get the defib first - then the bed pan. True - just ask any nurse.]

BTW don't you just love aircraft loos and the sucky hissy sound they make when you flush?  Just about made me want to go again the first time I heard it...

Can we call you by your reallyreal name or do we stick with mqsim

(Please edit your previous post with reply/answer if there aren't 2 posts after yours 4.gif 2.gif

The story continues .... apace ....

*Hmmm... Bry finding the 2 tracker implants is a minor setback but it is not the end, ooooh noooooo....  ve hav veys my friend, ve hav veys.... (now I just have to think of another plan ....)

    *hour glass symbol appears*

OK time for a SITREP (Situation Report):

Alex:  Teleported back to the bar - still THROWING TISSUES AROUND.

mqsim:  Still in the clinic but fast becoming a very useful team member.

Bry:   Holed up in a toilet cubicle on a 767 in a steep nose dive heading for Alaska.

Brad: Strapped into a straight jacket, in the same aforementioned 767, yelling at the top of his voice  flibergibitobstropolis! ... flibergibitobstropolis! ... flibergibitobstropolis!

*The 767 continues in its perilous dive, the engines are screaming ...... the captains mike switch has accidently been knocked on and the voices of the pilots can be heard clearly throughout the cabin....*

... pull up! - pull up! - PULL UUUP!

No! we have a sit-U-ation in the cabin - we need to get on the ground fast...

You lamentable lackwit we will be the ground in a minute...

I know what I am doing ... I have done this heaps of times in the simulator...

Yeah ... and I was there! ... you KILLED both of us remember ....

That was a minor technical glitch at the end - the dive was perfectly executed....

You are are about to execute us you barcelonian boof head...

There is nothing Faulty about my flying...

OK  - that's it ... I'm going to Manuel override... Anchorage Tower, Anchorage Tower,  this is Flight SC3.98 ....

[well I always did think those pilots were a couple of points short of a computer game..]

.... we are coming in for an emergency landing, I repeat, we are a cominiiiiiiin.... arrrrrrrrgh!  .... let go of my stick you neoplasmic ninkumpoop ...

*After a few more moments the 767 slowly and agonisely begins to pull out of its dive....

... with engines screaming at the redline, the outer coast of Alaska can be seen from the cabin windows.  Clouds become sea, sea becomes land, land becomes the end of the runway, ....

WHAM!  the aircraft slams down hard on the runway... the engines scream into reverse thrust ... the 767 shudders and vibrates violently....  in a time that seems like an age but in reality is only seconds....

[this story is real isn't it?]

... the screaming of the engines fades and the aircraft slews to a halt on the main apron of Anchorage Airport.*

Usual deal stay tuned ... blah blah blah....

If you are interested you can check out the reallyreal mission control in the "show us your desktop" thread.  Sorry I am not clever enough to make a linky - you will have to go there manuelly.

OK - so who tried clicking on linky.   Hee Hee you wont really know if it reallyreally is one or not unless you try ... go on I know you want to....  did you try both? I might be being sneaky a sneakylinky ...

mqsim:  Here's your sandwich, just as you imagined it.  Don't tell us, this is a PG13 board.

craig: Really, we don't believe in that medical secrecy nonsense.  Everyone should know, by now, that medicine is just the art of guesstimation completely surrounded by science.  The really good diagnosticians simply have a high callidity quotient.  About air craft loos.  Haven't you ever seen the news reports about the smelly blue ice that appears in some residential yards?  These are icy BM's.  Gad!  Emergency landings!  Now you know why I don't fly any more.

homeandaway:  Here's your muffin.  White chocolate is higher in fat than regular chocolate you know.

Jacky:  I hope your service à la russe went OK.  The KK Dragon hasn't done that before, and may have got the order of the silverware wrong.  Since you were dining alone, we only provided one footman to serve you.  Now, anyone interested can look up this service, which is top of the line.  If you want a full description of it in action, it is in C.S. Forester's description of Hornblower's adventures at the court of the Czar.  Don't remember the title, but probably something like Hornblower in the Baltic.

Moose: Thanks for clarifing the who the KK dragon is - sounds very much like a distant relative of our taniwha (tanny far) of Maori legend.  The taniwha is a spirtual water guardian that lives in bends of rivers and swamps.  A couple of years ago when they wanted to upgrade the main highway between Auckland and Hamilton (2 hours drive south) from 2 lanes to a 4 lane highway, they actually had to halt construction while the local Maori tribe decided whether the taniwha that lived in the swamp by the Waikato River (that they were busy building the road through) would be unduly affected or disturbed.  After much protracted discussion and politically correct negotions (involving a hefty "consultation" fee paid to the tribe) the highway is finally complete.  I am so glad that we SC mayors have no such issues when we demolish and build our new roads.  Maybe someone could design a "consult with local ethnic tribe" mod....  but very hard on the simolean budget, for very little return.

Alex, you know with the autosystem, your wish is our command.  Cheesecake served.

John94538:  Welcome to the Moose Factory.  I see you already have the hang of the autosystem.  Now, just watch our for our industrial charge nurse, Sister E. Nema.  She seems to be doing grand rounds right now with Dr. R. Igor Mortis, and head nurse Craig (a,k.a. abcvs).  You'd best steer clear of them.  They triple starch the sheets on the gurneys in the E.R.

Craig, I think you will like the KK Dragon.  He will toast anyone who gives you a hard time, once you get to know him, that is.

mqsim / Mason:  There. I used it. Your reallyreal name.  *shivers down spine* [Oooooh ... do it again, do it again..]  Mason, *shivers* Mason *shivers* MASON!  *shivers*.....

*an anononmus voice calls from direction of bar*

OK! enough already... it was funny the first time...

    *ignores*

    Well my son .... 16.gif

*puts on a smug "I know, but you don't tone"...*

... - you see, .. button 7 is really a rather special one  ....  "now here's a pretty thing" - it has a mithral coated circuit board ... very delicate and very light (but also very strong) ... and ... very expensive.  (took a lot of talking to get Moose to swing for that one.... hmmmm....  come to think of it I didn't actually tell him ... just ordered it - ...

    *whispers so Moose doesn't hear*

    ... cost §1 x 10¹°° ...

    [that a googol BTW, a 1 with a 100 zeros after it]

*giggles like Dobby the house elf when he is being naughty*

... on the kitchen's budget not mine ... opps! ... puts hand to mouth ... *muffled* ... Ifinkisaidtoomutch)

.... and just in case anyone gets any smart ideas, no one and I mean NO ONE is permitted to touch it .... (except me - *smirk*) OR ELSE, SO THERE, YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD.

    *Forrest Gump drawl*

"...and thast all I have toooo saay about thaaatt."

Hmmm ... I see you have been busy snicking Brad's Moose Factory linky too.  Most gratified to see you think it worthy to put on your signature - does that mean you plan to stick around for a bit?  Maybe I have started a trend.... *head swells*

Moose:  Do we get free stuff if we advertise the Factory with a linky on our signature? Can we, can we, huh, huh? *greasy cheesy grin* 9.gif

You clicked on it again didn't you!  Gets 'em every time.  These are the jokes folks, these are the jokes. 21.gif

John9andsomeothernumbers: Are you feeling quite well? You look a little [clip] bored....

... anything off the [clinic] trolley?

*singsong voice*  All free today...  all freeeee.....

    Alex: Tissues.

Alex:  Done, of course.  Enjoy your tea?  What did you get this time?  Darjeeling maybe?

Craig:  Please don't patronize the patrons.  You are not Mason's father.  And watch the budget!  If you exhaust the googolplex, I will have to issue the moolah command again.  [secretly reprograms button 7 to issue CTL+Shift+O command]

Anyone who advertises the Moose Factory gets to meet with the KK Dragon after school for a training session.  He now teaches service à la Russe.

[The KK Dragon picks up after Alex.  Smoke trickles from his nostrils].
