So Anyways, Welcome To Parish City, a city of hardship and glorious resolution!!  This city starts out quite small, but eventually blossoms into a huge gigantic, raging city.  Full of people, places to see, waterfronts to visit, and much more!!  Parish city first starts out okay, then is a multi-billion dollar city, but through its journey of becoming a multi- billion dollar city, it goes through very hard times, which are eventually resolved.  This city, you will see, is going to be a very big one.

But for now guys, I cant post any pictures yet because I am extremely busy AND, I am not ready to post pics yet.  Soo leave comments if you wish!

Good question! I have the ability, my computer has been up and running for the past wek now, I just have a few things I have to do, plus I can post pictures, just not today because I have my confirmation today and it has been very hectic, but you all will see pictures by tomorrow and I promise that.

Okay!!! Time for the first update.  Parish City never started as a "CITY", more like a town in Oklahoma that has only 400 people living there.  Business and industry start out great.  People are flocking, demand rises and new business, streets, and industry form.  The mayor is happy, people are happy, and they thought it couldnt get any better than this.................... well it didnt!

As you have read Parish City goes through hard times, and its current state is hanging in there, but for now,Ill give you a little flashback of what it was like back then.............. when the city first became!

The first pictures!

As I had sad......... small town!

Farms are booming!!

Now as we can see the town is 4 minutes into its life and already people are flocking here!!!!!

The City has a hilly landscape so its pretty hard to build on these types of terrains!

A couple months later and look at the city now.  The Mayor has the right to call it a large town!

Industry, as you can see, is in a bad spot, the mayor is taking actions now as he takes drastic measures to wipe out the industry there, and throw it somewhere else!

Another couple months and BOOM!! Industry gone in bad places, but HUGE in other places!!  But at least the mayor thought.  " The demand for industry rose greatly", the mayor said,"I had no choice but to do this and put housing on top of the old industry soil!"

Lets check on the farm empire!

Farmers always get the most space, "we'll just have to see about that!" the mayor quoted!

The business empire has now expanded its space, and the residential empire has just started using mid- rise buildings!!

And the pollution is bugging the people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the city has its first skyscrapers!!!!!................. Uh-OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means competition, and where there is competition, there is BIG business!!  "RACE TO THE TALLEST!!!" the mayor shouted!!

The skyscraper age has dawned onto Parish City, what will become of the poeple.  All the attention is going towards this....... this superiority contest!!!!! 

A couple months later aaannnddd!!

Yes this was just done in 2 months!!!!!!!  The citezens are unhappy!!!!!!!!!! And are about to crack!!!

The new tallest building in the city that will last a couple years!! But thats not stopping people from building big!!!

Well thats all the time I have today.  I hope you all enjoyed the first update of Parish City!!

This definately has potential! But perhaps a few tips to ease it along.

1.- Go green! Put in parks, greenspaces, trees, statues, landmarks, fields, etc.

2.- Stray away from the grid here and there. Every city needs a basic grid, but too much of it can become tedious

3.- Build skyscrapers when the city looks ready for them. Nobody likes living in a single story residence next to a 60 floor tower.

Manman... based on that last pic of yours with the J.Han***** centre. I'd argree with you on how you said there were rough times! haha. Looks like a major overhawl of the whole street network might be required. Keep it up, looking forward to more updates.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!  Parish City has now declared itself an indapendent nation!!!!! The newly formed country falls under communism!!!!!!!!  The New Flag has 4 letters and the oath of the citezens of the newly named Parishia!!!! (that's the new country's name!!)  The 4 letters are PC- CG, which stands for "Parishia City Communist Government!!!!"  The oath states' " I will now obey my government's every command and silliest whim, therefore serving the government until I perish under the government's command.  I will now surrender".  It is sad to see this happen in such a young city!! All construction on buildings has been haulted by the government and the people of Parishia( Parish City) (( Parishia City)) are now in a riot and everything is bloody and out of control!!! The law states that every Sunday people will work endlessly with only bread and water at their side!!  The City is in a terrible state, and until the communism stops, there will be destructionm of a newly born land!! The city no longer expands and is now falling apart, literally because of the government's command that states that no buildings except goverment buildings be superior and well managed!! Someone must help the city, before it is too late!!

Its... meh.

This is your first cj here (I think) so I won't be to critical, but it takes more than a 6 year old, all low wealth, auto zoned city with a few plopped landmark skyscrapers to wow me.

I suggest restarting, and instead of taking the lazy way out and autozoning, lay out your own roads, hold shift, and zone over them. Use parks, and don't just plop down skyscrapers until they will actually look good in the city. The flag and banner both look nice, but I think you need to spend a little more time on the actual cities.

Mayortim: You dont remember me?? I  had my old CJ New Relicty!! Ring a bell?? You know with all the avenues in the grid formation??? That you didnt like! I think now you will start to remember..  But I dont know if you have read any of my stuff and just looked at it.  I have clearly stated that these were rough times.  And I do not autozone, my roads are perfectly fine( I did layout my roads, it's a complicated system of a network hat I trying out)........................... you will understand once the CJ has enough time to actually get started.  In the first update, I said that this was a flashback. Dont worry parks wont be a problem, I will eventually put them in there, but as I have said... ROUGH TIMES THESE ARE.

Not being mean, I understand this is your opinion, but, Im just telling everyone in advence so their questions about this are answered!

Meanwhile, while Parishia is going through hell, a new civilization, still part of the old Parish City, has been formed.  On the Drakard Peninsula, lies a city being born......... born from immigrants who wanted to escape from the trechorous, crime infested streets of Parishia.  The city is called Parish City and lies right across the Utain Strait and The Gulf of Barkara.  This new civilization was approved by the Parish City government, which currently does not have any military strenght to compete with Parishiaa's at the moment, so the government of Parish has granted a new land to the shaken people, to whom can ever get out!!  The city offers new life, new jobs, new homes, and a better way of living.  People every day get on board of a secret ship at night that looks like a cargo ship, and travel towards the fresh smelling aroma of freedom!!  The PC- CG is not happy and was about to take over and destroy this new settlement, but they just increased the number of security guards and military men, by 80%!!! Now it is extrememly hard to cope with all this confusion, people are dying in Parishia because they smelled a flower!!!!  Its a start and what will become of, no one knows!

I'll say (honestly of course) that it's not good work . Check for your slopes and terraforming and don't put nowhere buildings . I mean that it's very not realistic . Your first CJ was good , bad to see that you loose it . Try to build on flat maps , or do terraforming . Hope that helps.

salut221- not really, Im just giving you you an idea of what the city's terraforming is.

Okay guys here are some pics of the newly formed Parish City on the Drakard Peninsula!!

just a few pics of what you will be dealing with.

We start here!

We start with an avenue called Freedom West.

Then I added just a small portion of a residential zone, and yes I did layout my roads which I always do.

The power plant is a little ways from the starting point, but they will eventually meet up............. eventually.

The Freedom West Ave. will meet up with this zoning in just a few days.

SEE! But another avenue, called Parish Avenue, is an avenue that runs through the entire city.

This will become part of the future business district, which you will get to see a little while from now.

Thats all I have today, I have a .lot more pictures, but I dont want to show you them all just yet.

Okay guys, its not a real update.  But its more of an update of the future!!  Today I will be showing you, one picture and one picture only.  Its Parish City, 13 years into the future.  Now dont be alarmed, I didnt do all of this on one day.  I will show you this, then on Thursday, I will show you more of what happened before the city became like this, from smalltown, to big city!!!

Alright, alright....................... I really want to update now, because I have really nothing else to do and its my day on the computer so I better make really good use out of what's left of the day.

Im not going to say anything, but just show pics of how the city develops and rises.

Now while that is doin its thang, I put a hospital down, gotta keep surviving!

The residential area is doin fine. Needs more people though!

Now for some close up pics.  The first, The Mayor is in town!!!

A park that goes by the name of Cheralds.  In front of the Trinity Hospital.

Industry is booming!

Here will lie a park right in between the buildings where you see all that empty space.

GEEZ!!!  I turn my head for two gosh darn seconds and already I have  a nice looking business district!  Business is booming!!!!

More people demand more beef!!!  LOL just kidding, they only needed more manufacturing and industry things!

The largest park, so far, at the highest poeint in the city, making it even taller with that tower in the center of the park!

Thats all I have today, because I need to get things in order, I have a lot of pictures to give in so little time to my own requirements.  And none of the pictures are in order of when they were taken, except these, these I figured out by putting the puzzle peices together, so yes it has taken me quite a long time to make this update.  Farewell,  pray for mercy for Parish City!!
