Theres a mod on the stex somewhere that gives you all the maxis buildings as plopables, stage 8's and all. I forget who it's by . It's well known that residencial plops have  a habit of abandoning priety quickly though but all the office buildings will be fine.

Other than that it's a question of over all city size. Only a preset percentage of your buildings will be a certain stage, so you have to go out to go up!

Hi, this is the wrong forum. This forum (City Journals) is for showcasing your cities, you want to ask this question in the Simcity 4 General Discussion Forum. If a mod doesn't move this then start a new thread there. Try and make sure you have the right forum before posting as it can be annoying to people.

There are no cheats to address your problem, but there are a series of mods that affect it. If you cannot get stage 8 with the super demand mod then take a look at your building style. You need a large region with plently of demand and a well laid out city.

Choco.

I did use the right forum.

I asked a question. At no time did I gloat, post or otherwise start a discussion about a city made by yours truly.

I solved my stage 8 problem, and that is that they will come when they want.

Huh?? How did you use the right forum? As chocolatemax285 said this section is for posting city journal, not questions about the game.

Yeah! This is a place for showing people cities you created, not for asking questions. The general discussions is the forum for asking questions like that.

Thread's in the wrong spot, but the poster says the question was answered. So I will simply close this one.

City Journal forum is for showcasing cities and telling stories

SimCity4 General Discussion is for asking questions like this.
