BAT files

I don't have SC4 Deluxe or RH so the BAT won't install on my computer. I was wondering where i could get the files so that i can use it. It looks like a very good 3d modeling software.

BAT is not really a modelling software, but an extension to gmax. gmax on the other hands is a modelling program. For downloading that you need to registered. You can download and registered at: www.turbosquid.com/gmax

Well go a buy RH or SC4 Deluxe, I just bought an extra copi of SC4 Deluxe for ~14 €. It's worth all the money

But keep in mind that Gmax cannot render things, only the gamepacks can render things.  If you don't have the BAT, you'll have a useless model.

If you have the BAT, you can only render things with SC4's camera angle.  It would be pretty useless unless you were making an RPG with sprites or something.

With several scripts and addons from this site, you can indeed render a building in gmax, as long as you use Yafray.

The package is called GmaxSLGrab and is fairly complicated to install and use. Fortunately, a very thorough, step-by-step readme is included, and after installation, I managed to render a scene of one of my Gmax buildings. (It will take a LOOOONNNGGGG time to render if you have a complex model)
