Need a landfill solution

I have a landfill that decomposed incorrectly to give me strips of 1x4 garbage. The "magic eraser" for landfills will not work, and the landfill has not decomposed even after being cut off with a no road zot for 20 years. Is there a mod to make the bulldozer work or some other direct method of removing the landfill?

search for "Dispoal." You'll get an advanced garbage disposal plant. 4000 tons of garbage. No pollution. Sorta realistic.

This is a common bug which I think has something to do with the size of the zone.  I have seen a thread which involved nuking the site, lowering and raising the terrain  and other extreme actions, all to no avail sorry.  Can't really help you too much.  Hopefully someone here will have an answer.

Actually try adding more trash zone around it, and then reinstate the access for a while, take it away again and wait till it it 100% empty before unzoning any of it.

If I remember correctly the garbage dump must be in 2x2 size units or multiples to properly decompose. I believe if you take your 1x4 and put another 1x4 strip by it so you now have 2 2x2 lots and then remove roads for at least 3 tiles arouind it and give it time it will decompose at an exponential 15% per yeat.. Seems it takes like 20 yrs or so to be clean so you can use the "dezone tool" to take em out completely. It must be empty though for the dezone tool to work.

I searched for "disposal", and funny thing is that this is the only thread that comes back!  (Searching the actual Modds and Downloads section yields zero results.)

Where can I find this advanced garbage disposal plant?  I have a 2x2 landfill that will not discompose (it's been 41 sim years now!!!), and I'm desperate for a solution.

Pegasus has a couple, one is a waterfront dock, one dumps the waste off the map. Search the STEX for CDK3, I recommend the CDK3 Garbage Dock. You can't go wrong with Pegasus's lots. Check the parameters of any other lot you use, to make sure it has reasonable settings.

If you don't have water in the city, try the Peg Garbage Chute [link].

Another search would be "waste", that gives several returns.

Hint:  Plop extra lots until the landfill is empty.  Connect the landfill with street or road once you have the waste facility plopped, otherwise you will just have to wait for it to decompose.
