My next building is almost done. I will be adding some final touches before putting it on the STEX. Any improvement suggestions are welcome.

Reminds me of the Waldorf-Astoria. My only real complaint is that the domes on top seem too bright.

OMG, me loves!:D I think we need more builidngs like this, older, and like only 20-30 floors, I could give u a pair of buildings that are mirors of each other and are only 18 stories each, if your interested!

wow!  this is realy fantastic.  I'll plan a spot for it in my city 44.gif.  Will it be, or almost be wall to wall?  what sized lot will it be?

I have some suggestions (which you where probably going to do anyways).
waldorado17ey.th.jpg

Make the crown it's origonal color, I don't like corroded metal : )
give the rooftop a more finished surface, add railing to the stairs, add a built in bush-box
maybe add some kind of statue ontop of thoes columns
add a bush-box at the bottom
make the red darker
make the roof lighter

anyways, it already looks great, but I would personaly like it better with those suggestions.  keep up the good work, can't wait for me 9.gif

The building would fit on a 4x2 lot and it'd pretty much take all of that up. But I think I'll put it on a 4x3 to put in some props.

Kefka: What's the original crown color?
I was going to add prop bush boxes at the bottom.

Lord_Bertrum: I think either NY or Chicago tileset would be OK. I am not sure which would be more appropriate right now.

MTLT_17: Sure, go ahead and post some sample pictures of those buildings. I like the older buildings too. They tend to have more character than the glass skyscrapers.

I like the oxidised copper roof, they are like this irl.

The roof could use some more details though, it looks to empty and too dark also.
    That was my opinion.2.gif

I don't think I'd like the bronze color copper on the roof. It'd look too much like the rest of the building color.

I am going to put more details on the walls, and at the entrance. I am also thinking of putting a dome skylight in the empty spot on the roof.

I guess I'll also lighten the roof a little bit. 43.gif

This is a really nice building!

For the domes, I'd try using some sort of steel finish, maybe, something similar to oneil's bosworth tpwer (search on the STEX for pics). Keep up the good work!

    SC4, Forevermore!

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.
