Looks great. I too am not a fan of Gehry - (I wonder if a century from now, this whole style would be viewed as cliche or tacky?) But you've captured the Disney concert hall perfectly! Great stuff...

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"I believe in talking behind peoples' backs. That way, they hear it more than once." - Fran Lebowitz
"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
"No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' " - Dani Bunten Berry

Once again some totally amazing modelling here 9.gif

I second what SimHoTToDDy said about the texture, it should look more like metal (more shinning), like in the real building, at the moment it looks more like stone. Try bump maps for the ripple effect.

Look 4ward 2 more!

I attach to thos message Files you can use with you version of max and Bat4Max v2.5

TB2_CameraLightRig.max should be placed in ...gamepacks\BAT\scenes\CamLightRigs  (remember it should replace ALL of the files there)

Max8MR_template.max use this file as a starting point for all you BAT modeling. You can also merge into it all the content of your existing files. It has MR set as a renderer and good settings for AA and FG.

One thing to keep in mind is that this template has gamma correction set in it.

it could, but it isn't optimal for Max9 though...

Max 9 uses different version of Mental Ray. It also has different type of lights and exposure control system, different materials.

I'll try to create similar templates for Max9 / Max2008

There is also the issue of truNite templates - 2. one for Maxis level of night and one for Gizmo's...

They are all coming, but it will take some time... I need to find an access to the Max9
