For example: In Getting started tutorial, you need to zone area inside flashing yellow grid. I can´t do it because I don´t see that grid. What´s the problem?

SKene: we will need your system specs (especially what video card and driver) and the version of sc4 you are running?

I got the deluxe version and I don´t know what video card and driver I have, but whole game runs great on my computer with high graphics.

Pretty weird.. it doesn't take a fancy PC to have that work.. it even worked on my old one.. Are you sure you don't have a corrupt regional tutorial or something? Try deleteing and re-copying the file.. The back up is stored in the program installation directory.. copy it to the "MyDocs" SC4 regions directory

Er, I don't mean to bump up an "old" thread, but the problem never seemed to have been resolved? I think what SKene was referring to was the flashing yellow grid the tutorials allocated for a specific lot, like "Alright, now use the residential zoning tool to zone out this area. *Flashing yellow grid*" As mentioned in the tutorial, those *special* yellow flashing grids only appear in the tutorials.

During normal game play, you can use the green (?) grids to help you plan your city and whatnot, by holding your "G" key down,  but you won't see any flashing yellow grids. What's the fun in that? 3.gif I hope this brings some closure to the thread. hahaha. (It bothered me a little. heh)
