I thought about PM-ing you this, but perhaps others may benefit as well:
Regarding the Kralore freight station (or any other BAT mod), I can modify the LOT file easily enough with the lot editor, but I can't seem to get datgen (EDIT: or iLive)to successfully import a new lot file into an existing dat file without errors.

edit: will just wait for Kralore update.

    I don't use Datgen so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

    I don't use Datgen so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

    Some how I missed the fact that Maxis even created train props. I personally think that it's a mistake to use them instead of the ones Gizmo28 created.

    I know what's going on with the Maxis Train Car props.  [Maxis never made train props; the poster was referring to the Maxis trains converted to props by Gizmo.]
     
    The Maxis_Traincar_Props_E-v3 file contains the exemplars for the props.
    The Maxis_Traincar_Props_G-v3 file contains the S3D models for the props.
     
    However, there are no FSH files in there with which to skin those props.  Gizmo's models just refer to the Maxis skins.
     
    This works fine, until you install original-replacement freight engines or freight cars, such as appear in Trolca's CP-Rail and River Haven sets.  Trolca's skins are in a very different format compared to Maxis's skins, and Trolca uses different S3D models to match them.
     
    So, on lots that use the Gizmo Maxis props, if you're using Trolca's original-replacement cars, you'll see the Maxis S3D models (from the Maxis_Traincar_Props_G-v3.dat) with Trolca's skins, which looks, um, interesting.
     
    The solution to this is for Gizmo to re-work his set to either remove the S3D models and refer to the default ones instead (Trolca's replacements will then appear normally on lots), or else to also include the Maxis FSH files (lots will show the Maxis equipment, ignoring Trolca's replacement).  I prefer the first one, myself.

    I see you're using some fairly old train mods mixed in with the new.
     
    Just a suggestion, maybe smooth out those tracks a little.
     
    Another suggestion is to take a look at BigRedFish's passenger service.

    The rail lines will be a lot smoother when I actually start another real region. This city was to test the freight methods as well as all of the beautiful train mods you've provided. I kinda just went all different directions with the tracks to have fun. Are we talking about the same smoothness?

    I do use BRF's MARTA passenger trains, seeing as I live in Atlanta and see them on a daily basis.

    Trolca, I am having a problem getting the ESPEE box car that you made for me to show up in the game. I am instead getting the Rico Inc. (page 45) showing up in my trains. I have never downloaded the Rico car. Is there a number conflict or maybe another problem that I may be having?

    • What was the date that RH/Deluxe came out
    • What sites out there allow's users to post .exe files
    • Can BigRedFish send me his train mods, or a link that allows me to find them, so I can post them, and users allow me a month, then an uber update will be posted

    A birthday and trying to figure out Windows XP has kept me away. I should get back to trains in a week or so.

    What if someone were to write a program that would switch in and out different sets of engine's and cars....like a play list, every 10 minutes, a different group of plugins would be installed. One set could be a TGV, one set could be an Acela train, another could be an amtrak, and another could be the GO transit train. Perhaps someone on the modd squad would know how to do this.
