I've already installed some several mods.Yesterday it hit me, I forgot to the patch the game! Should I remove the mods and install the offical patch, then install the mods again? Or should I do nothing?

Are you sure?Because in the update site, it says I should if I have mod already installed the patch would not take any effect or the game will crash.

they are speaking of the early type of mods, we use to use mods that changed the exe, if you have these then no don't update, just reinstall, lol but seriously, all the mods today don't touch the exe they are just dat files that load after all official game content, so as I said, you should be able to run the patch just fine!

take a look at what happens during the installation of these mods...what i observed is that they are simply extracted into some subfolder inside of you plug-in folder in my documents...I've been moving my folder around quite a few times already and just recently installed the patch....and all of them still work.....dont worry...

I use DAT files mods, so it's save to me to patch the game with the mods? Or should I move the DAT files before I patch the game?I don't want to crash one of my best cities 3.gif

As others have said it should be ok to just patch the game with the mods installed, but if you want to be on the safeside just move the mods to a folder outside the SC4 folders and patch it, then just move the mod files back.
