    El  Paraiso

    Chapter 4: El Cerro Verde

Yes, we are back! two year has past in El Paraiso and it is now 1994. Amazingly, El Monte grew to 5,000 people in this time. Now, more new and affordable homes are wanted all over the region and thats because the average 2,500 squarefeet home in El Monte cost $500,00026.gif. So with no further due's, I present you El Cerro Verde

    4welcomeyc6.jpg

    you get it.

    4downtowndb4.jpg

Here's our small downtown with Pier 1 Imports, Goody's, 7-11, Burger King, BP Gas, Publix, and Verde High School.

    4mansionqz9.jpg

Believe it or not, the average 2,500 square feet home here cost's $250,000.

    The first use of roundabouts.

    4railstationpc9.jpg

    There's Verde Rail Station.

    El Cerro Verde at night!

    4beachbq4.jpg

The beach and a couple of store's.

    4riverpg3.jpg

A small river was found on Beach Blvd. I know it looks crapy!

    4lakemy3.jpg

The river was traced to this lagoon. Guess what it was called... Correct, Laguna Verde!

    4portdaydj2.jpg

El Cerro Verde has a small port on the other side of Green Hill.

    4garbagetj7.jpg

By now, you might be thinking, "were does all the trash go?" Well since we want to keep El Paraiso clean, we decided to throw the trash over the edge. Come on now, who cares what there is on the other side of the edge. That's what Pegadyne Industries said so we are too!

... And that's all for today, take care. You don't want to end up like those retards that get pushed through the garbage disposal system just because they didn't look both ways to see if a garbage truck was pulling up.

BTW, asturiano, thank you very much. I will look at your cj too! but I want to warn you that the rules of posting in other cj's says that you cannot advertise your own cj in another unless it's in your signature like mine. just be careful19.gif!

    Comment's and suggestions are welcome44.gif!

More good updates are coming, folks!

    El Paraiso

    Chapter  5

    Now first for replies:

kant01: yay page 2, thanks for the reminder!

jacqulina: thanks for reading and watching!

asturianu: Thanks, you don't have to be rich to live in El Cerro Verde.

patriots_1228: At least you look in your plugin folder! I'm to lazy to do that23.gif! thanks for reading!

    bat: thanks!

asturianu: Te mande un PM sobre eso, pero tambien les dire a todos aqui? I sent you a PM about that, but I will tell everyone here too. Those high tension post's are in the stex, I believe they were made by fukuda.

camaron: Thanks, you got to thank Peg for those trash lots

aleko: Thanks, i'm sort of aiming for that, but once I get more inland, It won't be all that tropical.

    Alright, now for the update.

Today, we will focus more into inland El Paraiso were later we will see a big metropolis called Ciudad del Rio.

Here are some photos of what you would see if you travel from El Monte to Ciudad del Rio.

    5pointyvalleyfh3.jpg

This here is Pointy Valley. At first, a small town was planned here but it was canceled for safety reason's like rock slide and what not.

    5pvag7.jpg

The other side of Pointy Valley

    5foursidevolcanohd2.jpg

This here is Fouside Volcano and a small town and rest stop.

    5santafeau9.jpg

Along the highway, now inland you will find Exit 57 that will take you to the small town of Santa Fe.

    5sfintersectionxj8.jpg

...and there is Exit 57. To the left is the Valley River and Santa Fe.

    5sfrivervn6.jpg

Here's the whole Santa Fe area.

    5lazacaf5.jpg

Another stop along the Highway is Exit 71, which is the town of La Zacateca. Notice how rock walls are begining to be used along the Valley River.

    5lazacrivervx4.jpg

    A view of the river.

    5lazacintqq2.jpg

    There is Exit 71

    5canalconstructionco9.jpg

Now we get to the vacant land od Ciudad del Rio. Here, a new project sprung up, "The Valley River Canalization Project"

This is a "just in case" project that will help if just in vase a flooding of the river happens the city, would be ready, it' kinda like the LA River, it's all cement.

    5riverconstructionpl6.jpg

    The Canal under construction.

    5canalbighx7.jpg

    There is the final project.

    5cdrfreewayjz9.jpg

Finally, a new cross city freeway was built, "just in case"

    (like my cheap photoshop picture?)

Well that's all for today folk's. Next update will be about Ciudad del Rio. Thanks for stopping by!

The time has come again for another update!

    El Paraiso

    Chapter 6

    Ciudad del Rio

    Replies:

jacqulina: Thanks, That canal must have tooken me 45 minutes to build.

Camaron:I knew people would like that canal, thanks for reading!

gurrgkud: Thanks, unfortunatly future growth in Pointy Valley won't happen because for some reason, every time I build something on a steep slope (I think) the game crashes.

    asturianu: gracias tambien.

asturianu (again): yes those highways are photoshoped. But there is something similar called Rural Highway Project that will probably come out in the next NAM.

Today, we will focus in to the new big city called Ciudad del Rio. It's only got a population of 21,000 but the sense of big city is coming, especially on the highways!

Pictured here is the Downtown area.

    El Paraiso

    Chapter 7

I'm home now and I can't believe I'm updating today!

    Anyway, let's get started.

    7transitmapyn3.jpg

Heres the Ciudad del Rio transit map for 1999. Note that there is no developement on CentenialPkwy yet, but the street is there.

    7northgrowthha7.jpg

A large picture of growth to the north.

    7northdowntownmq1.jpg

Here's a closer look of the apartments in the north of downtown.

    7northpgstadiumtw8.jpg

On the other side of Mountain Dr., there is a new stadium and some more mid rise apartments.

    7westsuburbsnk7.jpg

Some new suburbs called Sonoma, were built between Alicante Ave and Decatur Dr.

    7shopsuburbsup6.jpg

On the other side of I-50 is Alicante, also between Alicante Ave. and Decatur Dr.

    7alicanteshoppingcenterps3.jpg

No suburb is complete without a shopping center. Pictured here is Alicante Shopping Plaza.

    7crxvv0.jpg

Ciudad del Rio hits the sky! CRX was built in 1998 and amzingly finished in 1999.(In the fictional world of Sim City, anything is possible, with help from simtropolis!)

    7hitechpc9.jpg

To the west of CRX is a new hi-tech center that is still under development.

    7i210beltwaytunneltv0.jpg

Yes! Once again, Ciudad del Rio thinks for the future and makes the beltway. With the beltway came construction of the Raul Martinez Underwater Tunnel. Named after me!

    7greenlandinterchangeqz0.jpg

And to the other side of the Raul Martinez Tunnel is Greenland Interchange.

Well, that's all for today. Please let me know if I am doing good!

    Thanks for reading
