DONT FORGET ABOUT THE CHARACTERS!!
Characters
Relation - Make a character that is related to the family patriarch Daniel Narrows. Doesnt have to have the same last name but they do have to be related.

Personality - You can use your own to make one just like you. Please dont be inappropraite with the personality. In this you can include their Health and Education.

Job - Ok that was kinda vauge they dont have to have a job they could just be a bum but thats all up to you.

Environment - Where do they live? Duchati, Pinewood, Cedar Grove, Cedar City, South Duchati, Silver Island, and Driftwood. There are many choices at the moment and even more to come later!

Other - Is there anything else i need to know about you character? Tell me here.

anyway here is...AN UPDATE!! woo! no region pic yet but its prolly gonna be after I finish this next project...



In the last update I said that both Duchati Intermediate School and Duchati General Hospital would be moved to make room for more offices. Well here is the plans. With the growth in Downtown Duchati the police force was desprately short of what they needed in serving the community so they set a petition to Mayor Jimmy Lee for a new station. Mayor Lee then decided to add a new Police Station to the plan. The traffic going downtown was become awful too. Especially on Charleston Avenue and Huntington Street, both are N-S roads going through downtown. The DTA aka Duchati Transit Authority decided to make Both Charleston and Huntington one ways to relieve the traffic. You can see the beginning of the process where Charleston Avenue was removed for the repaving.



That picture shows all the changes that happened. Even Duchati Tech couldnt resist making some changes. By adding the 13 Story Dorm Complex the college can now accept 5,000 more students adding to the 2,386 already attending. Since this block has been taken over by Civic buildings citizens in Duchati calll this Civic Row.

Well theres the update not much i know but there more to come later!

@ andrew george its not just my favorite members its just random members that i see around. But if you post in the CJ you have a better chance of having something named after you

 

@ DragonAnime just because you have the CAF building doesnt mean that you cant have a person in the Narrows Family that owns the CAF Industries or is a major part of it.

@ boggy1 well im gonna continue the Narrows Family Story! THat was what im gonna do! btw... here is the update!


Over the past 10 years Duchati has gone through many changes as the growth between Downtown and Cedar City has made Duchati's population jump 40,000 in that short strech. Mayor Lee excepted this growth and here is what he did before the BOOM happened...



First an extension of Huntington Street and Charleston Avenue was needed. But the land Below M44 and Above Richardson Avenue was to curvy to the DDA [Duchati Development Authority] so they asked the mayor if they could just start over with that area of town and if he did that they would add a park to the area adding to the great Land Value of Duchati. The mayor approved the plan and construction started.



Once they cleared away the area for a new layout that was in the works they had a chance to make the new park. The DDA approriatetly named the new Legend Park. For Duchati was becoming a 'legend' for city planning and building with the people all over SimNation.



Once they had Legend Park finished they were able to finish the road layout which was much more blocky but not to the point that it was a grid.



Once the BOOM hit Duchati was noe able to account for the demand with many new apartment buildings and a layout and masss transit system that was able to move the people to their jobs quickly.



Yet with all the Residental growth in the BOOM Duchati still didnt have enough jobs to feed the need. So Company's from all over started to build offices in Duchati and then it seemed like it was a race to build the tallest and most aesthetically pleasing buildings. So now in 15 years Duchati has gone from a great mid-sized town to a Major City with its own skyscrapers.



Here are some of the newest and tallest building that came in the BOOM:
1. BrownSuga Candy Company
2. Tonks Tech
3. Dev Pharmecudicals
4. Morena Deluxe Apartments
5. Takkar Trade Center



With all the people moving into Duchati and extension of the subway system was in order. 4 all new stations were built on the Green Line connecting Downtown with Cedar City. In that picture you can see how much Duchati has really grown. But people that have lived in Duchati over the past 50 years remember what Duchati looked like...
